Avatar f tn But am confused about the nutrition fact they write in the box of food (rice for example) they say nutrition facts for 100 g but is it like 100g of boiled rice or the uncooked product ? I guess there's a difference because when you use dry product you need for example two cups but if you use cooked rice you may need a cup ... Since it sucked water and its heavier so .. Any thoughts or maybe am dumb lol ! Thank you .

I was hoping to find something where I can enter what I'm eating and have it tell me if I am meeting my protein and vitamin requirements. (of course I am taking a PNV also) Does anyone know if this exists? Even if it's computer/internet based and not an app?

Exercise, even if it's just getting up and dancing or going for a good walk. Rest when you need to. Listen to your body. Distraction when the anxiety is creeping in - turn on some music, call a friend and talk it out, get up and go walk. But most importantly is retraining your brain. "This is just anxiety. It's no fun, but it's not going to hurt me.

If you go to his website and read the information, this very strict regimen or diet, exercise, meditation, etc. has been shown to reduce artherolsclerosis (hardening of the arteries) . That said, most of these diets do have you eating in a healthy way, and our bodies naturally respond to eliminating sugars, white flours, refined foods, animal byproducts, etc.

Tbd I have never used Medifast personally, but a quick glance at their nutrition facts, and I would say if you are struggling with high cholesterol, I wouldn't go that route. Any pre-packaged items/shakes like that tend to be high in sodium and cholesterol- two things you want to stay away from. As with any diet- I'd ask your doctor before you start any plan to make sure it's right for you. I know losing weight can be tough!

666357 tn?1225318814 You are more then likely feeling sluggish because you are not getting the proper nutrition. When you are not getting the proper nutrition you get sick more easily. I would suggest going to see your physician. They will be able to assist you with what you need to do next. It does sound like you might have an eating disorder. I would also suggest talking to your doctor about making sure you do not have mono. I know when I had mono I did not have an appetite. Please go and see a doctor.
Avatar n tn Just my recommendation from studying nutrition, you probably need to find a nutritionist close to you and find out if your body is really getting everything it needs. A general physical probably won't be able to really help you with that. Having meat in your body is healthy for you, but I would make sure to buy meat with no hormones or steriods. I personally wouldn't avoid it all-together though.

We all know that study data can be skewed any way one wants to skew it, in order to come up with the preferred results.
