10476455 tn?1423121400 If you have one glass of wine your breast milk will not be 12% alcohol like the wine was. It will be about 0.04% which is the same as tour blood and actually less alcohol than is in normal fruit juice (yes all fruit juice contains very minimal traces of natural alcohols).
Avatar f tn I believe most doctors say a glass of red wine once in a while is ok but nothing else. I don't even risk the wine though. If there is a problem with my baby, I want to know that it wasn't anything I did to cause it.
Avatar n tn I had hep c, I contracted it form multiple blood transfusions. When my numbers were right for treatment I did the riboviron & interferon. The pheno type that I had was the most resistive to treatment. After hearing all of this from my Dr. I ask what would happen if I doubled or tripled the prescribed dose of interferon, he said that was not approved by FDA but since I would be injecting the med at home, he had no control over how much I used.
Avatar f tn HOW DO YOU LADIES FEEL ABOUT HAVING AN OCCASIONAL GLASS OF RED WINE DURING PREGNANCY?
Avatar n tn thank you so much! i have just had a lumpectomy and found that the cancer was gone, but that i still have to have radiation and then tak tamoxifen. i love my red wine- especially with italian food:) and can't imagine going without it. my surgeon was stand-offish today and didn't seem ready to answer questions. i appreciate knowing there are other wine lovers out there who are in the same situation!!
Avatar f tn But am confused about the nutrition fact they write in the box of food (rice for example) they say nutrition facts for 100 g but is it like 100g of boiled rice or the uncooked product ? I guess there's a difference because when you use dry product you need for example two cups but if you use cooked rice you may need a cup ... Since it sucked water and its heavier so .. Any thoughts or maybe am dumb lol ! Thank you .

Avatar f tn Do any you ladies think its safe to drink red wine while your pregnant???
Avatar f tn It's safe to drink a glass of red wine.
Avatar f tn Ive had 3 glasses of red wine while I've been pregnant. The doctor says it's alright. But by any means you should not drink everyday or get drunk. once in awhile is ok but don't over due it or get out of control.
Avatar f tn I don't think it matters it's still red wine/alcoholic I guess just go with whatever you perfer, I don't think taste would make a difference it is really only a different taste doesn't make any bottle different to the other unless of course the percentage is more or less depending on I'd say it's brand and price :)
Avatar f tn What do u think of the idea of having a glass ore red wine once a week?
Avatar f tn before I knew I was pregnant at about 5-6 weeks I had a family dinner and had a some glasses of red wine. I am now 8 weeks and have been feeling so guilty lately even though I didnt know about the pregnancy . Should I be this worried?
Avatar n tn I have always heard that it is ok to drink red wine or wine during pregnancy. Is that true? If so, how often would I be able to drink it throughout my pregnancy?
Avatar n tn It is easy for me to surmise that it is the sulfites, because it was the inexpensive wines I had been cooking with. I have no doubt, since white wine and red wine affected me exactly the same way. Kindd explained that they have more sulfites than other wines, which I actually knew, so I knew what was making me feel like I had the flu. Avoiding anything with wine in it definitely does the trick.
