Today, I snacked on quaker oatmeal squares when I felt nauseated - and that symptom just started today - ugh. I feel like I have already gained a lot of weight even though I am only 6 weeks along - I was between 115-120lbs when I got pregnant so maybe the small amount of weight I gained seems like more, who knows.

422823 tn?1229736847 Once I got past the worst points, the only things I could handle were Yoplait cherry flavored yogurt, mashed potatoes, Ritz crackers, dry cereal (I liked Kix, Quaker Oatmeal Squares, and honey nut Cheerios), and canned pears & peaches. For some reason I really liked cottage cheese, too, and it is incredibly good for you. If you get the full-fat kind it will help you put back the weight too, which is important.

Salads are great if she will eat it. The most important aspect to increased fiber is increasing your fluid intake. Fiber is great for increased bowel movements; however, it needs fluids to get through the colon. Suggest you limit rice, bananas, and fresh apples.

Avatar m tn There are some really inexpensive oatmeal products for pets, but, good old quaker works, too. Make sure you rinse, rinse, rinse after bathing. Rinsing is so very, very important. Good luck. It is allergy season, and pets have allergies, too.

Avatar n tn ll typically eat a whole package of the quaker instant oatmeal (which in and of itself would fill me up!), an egg, and some fruit. Lunch and dinner are typically smaller though. She'll typically have one or two more snacks during the day (crackers, fruit, cheese, yogurt, etc..). My daughter has always been very tall for her age, and has always carried a little extra chub too even though she is very active. She is always 100% for height and weight for her age group.
Avatar f tn Oatmeal! Make stove top oatmeal, not instant because it isn't whole oats. I eat oatmeal every morning and since I started I went from nursing on demand and pumping 8oz a day to nursing and pumping 12-13oz a day!
Avatar f tn 1 teaspoon of fish oil, 2 tablespoons hemp seed, 2 tablespoons flax, 2 tablespoon fine oatmeal, quarter cup sunflower seeds, 1 TSP chia seeds, kale, arugula, baby spinach, whey protein, 1 TSP bee pollen, half teaspoon of ginger, 3 large strawberries, handful of blueberries, handful of raspberries, half a banana, almond milk, and then I mix it in my nutriblast.

I couldn't think of a reason why she couldn't be on it, other than she probably won't like the texture! So, we will test it out this week and see how it goes :) If at first you don't succeed try, try, again... right?

Avatar n tn If he likes pasta, then add meat or cheese sauces to the pasta instead of plain tomato sauce or plain pasta. Add dry milk to oatmeal, mashed potatoes, gravies, creamed vegetables, and creamed soups (add additional protein sources to soups such as meat). Use all fat dairy products and no low fat foods so he has the calories he needs. Remember to relax at meals and just give him the foods he wants.
Avatar n tn s right plain old *** damn Oatmeal.. Take a cup of Quaker put it in your little hand held food processor with two tbs of Corn Starch.. Mix that baby up into a powder. Get a small bowl and maybe a pop stick. Mix it to say baby food consistency with water,little at a time - spreadable not runny otherwise you'll have yourself a real mess.. Spread on a layer with the pop stick or just your finger's. . Let it dry on your skin for 20 to 30 min. Don't touch it..
Avatar f tn Eat daily high fiber breads and cereals (oatmeal). Some people have claimed that avoiding dairy and gluten in their diet has helped them with their MS; however, there is no clear research evidence. It is a personal choice. Hoped this has helped you.

Avatar n tn Try nuts, peanut butter, almond butter, whole fruit (eaten with meals or with whole grain bread and cheese), Quaker Breakfast Cookies (Oatmeal w/choclate chips or raisins in the breakfast aisle), Quaker Simply Harvest Instant Multigrain Hot Cereal (several flavors, I love the vanilla, almond and honey). Enterex Glucose Control nutrition drinks are more costly, but are good and have decent numbers on the label. Kind brand of all natural bars are more expensive than some, but are very good.
