Avatar f tn They advise to do the riba with fat for absorption, so a lot of people use peanut butter. My diet changed drastically on treatment. I generally do a no sugar, high on veggies, lots of fat, lots of soy, lots of fish, chicken, meat, cheese, kind of diet. Really spicy food. During treatment, I ate ice cream and drank milk to the exclusion of any other food pretty much. It was all I could keep down, and I couldnt stand spicy food. It hurt my mouth. I gained forty lbs.

Avatar f tn But am confused about the nutrition fact they write in the box of food (rice for example) they say nutrition facts for 100 g but is it like 100g of boiled rice or the uncooked product ? I guess there's a difference because when you use dry product you need for example two cups but if you use cooked rice you may need a cup ... Since it sucked water and its heavier so .. Any thoughts or maybe am dumb lol ! Thank you .

What can I put in my smoothie, like protein or something that will help me get my morning nutrition. Before pregnancy I didn't care, but I am 13 weeks and I want to make sure I'm doing this right. All the help is appreciated!

Avatar n tn For instance, if I focus on eating my veggies first, that helps fill me up (and I season them however I want - butter, salt, balsamic, whatever sauce I want - I figure veggies covered in just about anything are healthier than chocolates and jolly ranchers...). Olive oil and butter on veggies seem to help me feel satisfied with them. Peanut butter helps during this time, too, but only if I use real peanut butter and not the kinds with added sugar.
Avatar f tn I used palmers cocoa butter my entire pregnancy, even before I started to show and I didn't get any stretch marks. I put it on my belly, lower back and upper thighs twice a day. They say stretch marks are hereditary, my sister and mom got them really bad but they also didn't manage their weight either which is also something I did.

Avatar f tn The most important is self-care. Eating good nutrition, drinking plenty of water, decreasing caffeine (a stimulant). Exercise, even if it's just getting up and dancing or going for a good walk. Rest when you need to. Listen to your body. Distraction when the anxiety is creeping in - turn on some music, call a friend and talk it out, get up and go walk. But most importantly is retraining your brain. "This is just anxiety. It's no fun, but it's not going to hurt me.

Avatar f tn I lost 28 pounds in my 1st trimester from nausea and vomiting. The only nutrition I had was being on an IV for 2 months. I could not eat or drink anything until I was 15 weeks. Like my doctor told me, babies are resilient. My daughter pulled everything from me to grow and thrive. Although I was sick, she was just fine. I'm 25 weeks and 1 day now; still on 3 prescriptions to stop the nausea and vomiting (including a Zofran pump in my stomach 24 hours a day) and my daughter is doing great!
Avatar n tn This also happened to me the smell of it made me physically sick and normally I love meat I have been this way for the last 15 weeks I'm guessing it will go away when baby is born x
