Avatar f tn 1 teaspoon of fish oil, 2 tablespoons hemp seed, 2 tablespoons flax, 2 tablespoon fine oatmeal, quarter cup sunflower seeds, 1 TSP chia seeds, kale, arugula, baby spinach, whey protein, 1 TSP bee pollen, half teaspoon of ginger, 3 large strawberries, handful of blueberries, handful of raspberries, half a banana, almond milk, and then I mix it in my nutriblast.

I make this smoothie in the morning, use half of it to make 2 popsicles and split the rest between my two kids. They drink the smoothie in the morning, and eat the popsicle after school. The Udo's oil has helped reduce their cravings for junk and sweets, and actually increased their appetite for vegetables too.
Avatar m tn Well, I know you say you don't have time to get to the gym, but that is what will boost your appetite and help build the muscle you're looking for. Even if you can't do it regularly, try to at least go for a jog around your block once or twice a week or do workout videos (like the well-known P90X videos) that are quick to whip you into shape at home. As for meal plans, combining complex carbs and protein is your best bet for gaining muscle.

I feel all gassy the whole day too. Does anybody feel the same? I take a banana immediately after drinking the supplement to suppress the vomiting tendency.

Avatar f tn I find having veggies at breakfast helps me stay full all morning. Have a snack of fruit. Even a banana is fine as it is filling and full of nutrition.

Anyway: 1 leaf of green leaf lettuce has 8.2 mcg of Vit K 1 cup of radicchio has 102 mcg of Vit K. Trying to guess how much green leaf it takes to make a cup, hmm, looks like they're both pretty close in terms of Vit. K.

What can I put in my smoothie, like protein or something that will help me get my morning nutrition. Before pregnancy I didn't care, but I am 13 weeks and I want to make sure I'm doing this right. The body much prefers to get nutrition from natural food, it's designed to break them down from food stuff. I gave my wife a banana to eat every hour, and by three bananas her levels were normal. If Potassium is dangerously low, it's given directly into the blood because they know the body doesn't absorb it very well from pills.
