You stated he likes cheese, than add cheese to pasta, potatoes, or rice. Some tips for additional calories: If he likes pasta, then add meat or cheese sauces to the pasta instead of plain tomato sauce or plain pasta.

Avatar f tn I had posted a question this week, if anyone noticed a difference on sx after shots if they ate bad, eg; fast food, salty foods, sweets. Well, I found out on my own. I had a very bad diet last week eating just about everything I wanted. Shot day is friday and saturday I felt ok, to my surprise. Then sunday I woke w/ a huge headache, nausea that was so bad even my seabands werent working. Monday I was still very sick I even went home an hr after arriving to work.

He only drinks milk,little water and juice.He is very energetic and does not look sick. I usually give him Pediasure twice daily that the doctor recommended but i am afraid it should not be what he depends on for all his minerals and vitamins. What should I do?

Get to know the cafeteria and when you enter go to the salad bar, so you won't go by the dessert table. limit yourself to one dinner plate at meals. Use the USDA MyPlate graphic as a guide. Fill half your plate with fruits and vegetables, a quarter with whole grains and a quarter with lean protein. Have a serving of low-fat dairy on the side. Avatar f tn DOn't worry about it. Make sure you eat healthy during your pregnancy and things will be fine. as others said don't eat alot of salty foods. I'm one of the lucky ones that end up lighter than before I got pregnant. with my first son I was 177 (5'8 which is clinically overweight although I was only in a size 13/15) and dropped to 170 after.

Full of all kinds of things that a dog has no need for and cannot process....It's really a Joke! Not your fault of course....... Avatar f tn Portion control is important and here some general tips for per portion and total servings per day = ½ cup for all starches (8-10 servings a day) and vegetables (2-3 servings a day); one piece of fruit or ½ cup of small fruits (3-4 servings a day); 1 cup for low fat dairy product (3-4 servings a day), and 3-4oz of low fat meat a meal (12ozs total a day). Remember to drink plenty of fluids daily and take your prenatal vitamin pills.

Avatar n tn Lots of veggies- plenty of vitamins and low calories. Sweet potatoes have a lot of nutrition in them. Apples are recommended for fiber and are an excellent energy source, releasing sugars more slowly than many kinds of fruit (see private message). Good fats found in pistachios, almonds and walnuts as well as the protein they provide make these nuts good ones to eat. A suggestion I once heard was to eat a small handful of nuts prior to having your meal to help curb your appetite.
