Avatar f tn A good one, is 1/2 cup fat free Greek yogurt, 1/2 avocado, 1 scoop any protein mix, 1/2 cup milk (low/no fat), 3-4 ice cubes. Blend well and pour into glass. I usually drink this when I make it, but it can keep in the fridge for a while, as well. If you don't like avocado, use whatever fruit you like. Stop with the cookies and Little Debbie snacks. Those are some of the worst things you can eat!!

Avatar n tn Eat LOTS of veggies, fruits, lean proteins, whole grains, and low fat dairy. Eat good sources of fats such as avocado, coconut, eggs, and nuts; avoid fried foods and foods high in saturated fat. You might also want to talk to your parents or dr about a multivitamin. If you change your diet and activity level you should see some results or at least feel a difference. Keep in mind though miracles don't happen overnight.

My mouth hurt all the time on treatment so I supplemented with ice cream and milk shakes which wasn't so healthy but I enjoyed it anyway. Try to find something that you can tolerate - and at least take some good multi-vitamin without iron in it.
Avatar n tn The only thing that I can think that was the same on both those days was that he had avocado.. He has had avocado before (probably 2 or three times) with no reaction. Everything else he ate on those days was normal stuff he eats daily. Any ideas?? Oh and I did call his pediatrician and she said it sounded like a stomach bug that he might have been unlucky enough to catch twice...I doubt that. She said that an allergy to avocado is very rare.
Avatar m tn This afternoon i ate some fruit (some bananas and oranges) and after 2 hours i ate an avocado with some egg yolks; once eaten the avocado, i started experiencing hypoglycemia-like symptoms in 15-20 minutes. The symptoms were: sudden weakness with inability to walk (i had to sit down) and tremors; probably also some degree of lightheadedness. The symptoms resolved in few time (10 minutes) spontaneously.
Avatar f tn Add mixed nuts to your breakfast, and include avocado slices in your sandwiches. This increases your fat intake and calories without increasing the volume of the food you consume. Don't eat foods that contain saturated fats, and sugar. Include more fresh fruits, vegetables and lean meats in every meal. Eat a snack between meals, like whole wheat pasta with olive oil or a sandwich on whole-wheat bread.
Avatar f tn I'm 10 weeks & 3 days pregnant. I loss my appetite week 6ish. I started having morning sickeness week 8ish, and today I got sick like 3 times. I've attempted to eat many things but I can't keep anything down. The only thing that helps with the nausea is popsicles And I feel so bad because that's all I had all day until 9:00pm tonight. I just ate rice and chicken and some avocado. I'm so scared that my baby is not growing properly. :( But he/she is not wanting the food.
