not eating just drinking water

So prior to getting pregnant, I was taking my prenatal, drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day, and hardly drank anything but water. Since I've been pregnant, I have had awful morning sickness, to the point where I can't take my prenatal and water is just the worst thing to me. The only thing I can drink without it making me feel like crap is sweet tea, lemonade, or a fountain coke. I've probably had more caffeine in the past 4 weeks than in the past year, and I feel horrible.

Sorry to hear Maggie has CKF. When I started cooking for my Sammie, I mixed "minute" tapioca just with the water and mixed it in her food. She loved it and I knew she was getting liquid. I mixed the water and the tapioca, let it sit for a while, then microwave it for 3 minutes. It will thicken up. I mixed it up then microwaved another 3 minutes. Mixed it again and added water if it was too thick. Another 3 minutes in the microwave and then let it cool.

We have a 13 week old ragdoll kitten just arrived. He is eating very well and putting on weight but does not want to drink at all. We have tried many different types of water bowls and have run the tap near him and placed him on the floor of a wet shower bay and still no luck. His urine is very strong and yellow. my 14 yr old chihuahua is walking hump backed, not steady on her feet, is eating chicken and rice once a day, but will not drink water, walks crooked at times and holds her head at a tilt while walking sometimes. She only weighs 5.4lbs, took her to vet 2 days ago,vet seemed to think it might be a disc in her back, although she holds up her paw at times, blood work was ok, stool test had a trace of blood, but was negative for parasites.

Before and after meal, I always drink water for about 3 glasses until I feel my stomach is full. After eating, I drink more or almost 1 litre (Because I really really love water) til I feel like my tummy gets bigger and bigger. After that, I feel like I can't move because my stomach is really full. Does it make my belly to get bigger or I will lose weight because I drink a lot of water?

Do not wait too long though if he is not eating. It can be a sign of something else. But do not get to worried yet. He could of ate something you do not know. If you can afford the vet it would not be a bad idea. Sometimes I can just call my vet and they will tell me if it is serious enough to bring him in. I wish you good luck with your baby.

Today the first pup is eating but very little. All three are drinking water and acting semi normal. Could this be just like a flu type thing or do I need to get all three to the vet ASAP.

Anyone else not drinking as much water as they should be? I know im not I drink about 2 bottles a day if that. I just don't get thirsty I've never been a big drinker of fluids in general. How can I help this?

he needs to be admitted in a rehab.... not eating for 4 weeks is NOT healthy..and then he is drinking and taking pills on top of not eating.... not smart....

I hate drinking water too, I just top my juice up with a bit of water, makes you drink water & makes your juice last longer :)

Is your dog drinking water? If not there is a dehydration concern and a vet should check. Also check on the side effects of the medication and I think giving a dog a bone is risky on teeth and for possible choking problems.

My dog has not been eating for couple of days and she does not seem like she wants to eat and i tried to force her to drink some milk and water and she keeps on gagging and coughing what could be causing that ?

I agree, take her to a vet ASAP. Also, if she is not eating Im assuming shes also not drinking. Maybe use a dropper to give her water so she doesnt dehydrate. Wish you the best.

When was her last blood work done at the Vet's office? You can always give them a call tomorrow and ask them.

I have a 9 year old Rottweiler and for the last week she has not eaten any dog food. I've given her some boiled chicken and rice and for a while she would eat that. I am drinking lota of milk. Try drinking fluids btween your meals and not with them. Try not to eat right before bed and stay away from greasy/fatty foods.

Cats cannot get too much water, so what I would suggest (and also what I do with Jade) is add just the tiniest amt of water to the bottom of the bowl of wet food with each feeding. Can't wait to see new pic!!!!

lastime I took her, they had to give me a pill to put in her food to sedate her, and then I would put a muzzle on her, because she would also snap at me.But now she is not eating or drinking any water, so at this time a pill would be useless. I don't know what to do. she also limps when she walks. so confused. and sad to see her sick. the vet could come to the house to see her, but we would still have the same problem. Any suggestions?

My 14 year old chihuahua has not eaten in almost a week. I have to give him water by syringe because he's refusing to drink as well. He's not acting himself at all. He just sleeps on his pillow and won't move unless we pick him up. He used to come to me as soon as I sit down so he can sit on my lap and when I left the room, he would bark to let me know that he's not happy that I left. He doesn't do any of that anymore.
