normal weight kids

Hey guys. So I'm 19w+5d and I'm still not showing. I'm a ftm and I know it takes awhile to show as opposed to a mom with more kids. Is it normal that I'm not showing yet...or is it something I should be concerned about?

My SIL was sick her entire pregnancies (she has two kids) and she lost weight instead of gaining. Her daughter was 7 lbs 3 oz and her son was 8 lbs 12 oz or something around there (don't quote me on the exact ounces!). The point is that you are eating (healthy), drinking plenty of water, taking your vitamins, and doing what little exercise or stretches you can. If you don't gain weight, it'll effect YOU, not the babies. They'll use up all your stored fats and nutrients.

Is it normal to have hot flashes? Normally I'm cold and now im just so hot all the time.

My flare ups have been so bad during my pregnancy the whole pregnancy has taking a toll on my body I had to have a cercloage when they stitched your cervix together I've lost weight bleeding, spotting I have a few other medical problems with my weight loss it's not so bad because I wanted to lose weight already before but constantly being sick and taking 32pills a day is driving me crazy my doctor said when I have the baby alot of things should leave I'm praying so this my 2nd child

It is normal for some women to loose weight. I lost weight with my first two kids. This time around i've lost 40 lbs and i'm 26 weeks along. My doctor says as long as i'm keeping liquids down thats the most important.

That's a good weight. My son wanted us to name his sister Tawny Ann Talula however her name will be Luxie-Mia Rosalie. It's a good sign he's showing interest though he just wants to be involved.

Hi, well, your baby was pretty big from the start! Hats off to you for delivering a 9.5 pound baby dear! Is he on his growth chart?? Is your doctor worried about his weight? My baby had gas and reflux and I did a lot of research on it at the time. Many boys actually have an immature sphincter muscle and will spit up almost in a violent way. My son sure did. They outgrow this. I added the gas drops to a bottle a few times a day and that helped.

Yes very normal, unless your doctor states other wise. I kept loosing weight up to my 5th month of pregnancy, I gain a pound on my 6month and from their on I kept gaining normal pregnancy weight.

I thought I was the only 1! I have a 6 yr old girl and I get very frustrated with her. I can't even help with her Homework with out yelling. :( honestly it breaks my heart. ... unfortunately, I can't control my emotions at the moment being 39 weeks. On that note , Im sure its normal for our hormonal butts to be a little "extra" with our kids. Whenever your temper is short tell you significant other to step in and take over while you count to 10....

Is anyone having problems with their kids acting out more than normal the closer you get to your due date? My kids seem to be acting out more than normal.

t eat much at all I lost alot of weight. I feel distance from my kids. I feel like things are not real like I am in a dream. I don't have anyone to turn to for help. I feel like I am going crazy. I have 2 kids and after my second my thyroid slowly got worse and my mood and my weight have followed. I am right there with you with just wanting to feel normal again but it is a long road. I hate this problem because I feel it has robbed me of my kids growing up because most days I just don't feel I have it in me to be a mom.

Just out of curiosity...this is a babies/kids thread. I know there's growth charts, and weight charts but how old is/are your child(ren) and what's their height and weight? Just curious of the ranges of children by age...actually I really just want to know if Elijah towers over anyone else's kid, lol...he's so much taller than all the babies in our play group...

Chances are if you notice your child has a weight problem then he notices too. If you have ever battled weight as an adult you know how frusterating it is, how much will power and self control it takes. Imagine being 9 and not having the will power, the tools, the resources or the maturity needed to make that decision. I'm willing to bet he is teased about it at school as well, lets face it kids can be terribly cruel. He is probably angry and rude with you because of his frusteration.

I feel very panicky and have no desire to do anything. My only motivation are my 2 kids,but they know that things are not right i sleep every afternoon on the couch,can barely help them with homework,most times they do not even ask. I have tried abilify for a month and in the beginning it was great,but i gained alot of weight in one month and was having trouble sleeping even with taking a sleeping pill. My dr.just started me on a supplement called Delpin.Has anyone tried this?

Hey im a single mum 21 of 3 beautiful kids 3 2 and 3 months and i have started loosing weight i really like the idea of the gyms in the parks although i cant leave the kiddies playing wile i exercise as they are abit young any other ideas what i can do ?

She also has elevated fears to include what seems to be mild chlosterphobia. A fear of small places seems to be somewhat normal, but also a firmer hug or being held will cause severe panic. All of these behaviors combined are beginning to cause me great concern. Actually they have for some time, but I need to find out if these are normal for her age or if my concerns have justification.

So I just gave birth to my son last Friday (so inlove) but when I went to the doctors they said he's loosing weight.. They told me he should be taking AT LEAST 3 ounces PER feeding, if not more. Well my little man likes an ounce to a ounce and a half. I've upped it to 2 ounces every 2 hours. It takes him anywhere from an hour to two hours to have him take the full two ounces.

My last menstrual was June 7-15 so the dr has calculated my due date at March 15.....I already have a baby bump and am showing at 8 wks is this normal or does it mean im further than they say I am?
