No period micronor

Common Questions and Answers about No period micronor

period

551604 tn?1333986735 I took the micronor and had no problem with it. I didn't get a period on it, but I never got a period until I stopped breastfeeding after a year anyway, so for me it was the breastfeeding. My step sister was breast feeding AND on the micronor, and found out she was pregnant 2 months after her daughter was born. It has a failure rate slightly higher than the regular pill so you may want to try something like the Paraguard that was mentioned.
Avatar f tn I am on the birth control micronor and i am still breastfeeding my 13 month old son, I have not gotten my periods back yet. My doctor is running a pregnancy test, but i have not had sex! Is this normal? thanks for any information!
Avatar n tn I'm not sure how this works as I don't have a period as I'm still exclusively breast feeding and I don't want the birth control pill to cause me to start having my period. How do you know when to start taking the pill when I don't have a period and has taking it caused anyone to start getting their period.
Avatar n tn You are wrong about that, that's a fact. I've been on micronor for a long time now and it works effectively as a birth control. No pregnancies nothing like that. Please fact check before you make claims. Thanks.
1035252 tn?1427231433 So my OB and I decided to try the mini-pill Micronor because it's the least likely to increase or exacerbate headaches. My question is...has anyone taken this? How did you like it? What were your side effects? the big one...how much did it cost before insurance? Our insurance is screwy right now so I might be having to pay out of pocket for a few months' worth of the Micronor and I'm hoping it's not too expensive...has anyone done online pharmacies? are they cheaper?
Avatar f tn Big Vitamin A dosage short term, no change. Strong progesterone creams, no change. All sorts of herbs and vitamins, that suppose to reduce bleeding, no change. Primolut = 500 mg synthetic progesterone works great and just a 3/4 tablet stops my bleeding. It should however not be taken permanently without break. My Doctor suggested 3 weeks on, one week off. Now I discovered a progesterone ONLY pill MICRONOR, which has 350 mg synthetic progesterone.
2020005 tn?1476662562 My 6 week check up is in 9 days and I'm thinking of getting on micronor or the "mini pill" because I'm EBF'ing my daughter, I've read some things online about it causing terrible mood swings and breakthrough bleeding, and it not being as effective? I have the option of an IUD, which I don't want, this pill, depo, or OTC BC options like condoms, etc.
470885 tn?1326332637 I've posted this on both the contraception and breastfeeding boards - and received no responses so far. Does anyone know if I should be expecting a period while taking Micronor (mini BCP) and exclusively BFing? I'm 10.5 weeks postpartum and have been taking the pill since my 6 week check up. I'm into my second pack of pills and still haven't had any sort of period. My postpartum bleeding ended at 7.5 weeks postpartum.
Avatar m tn When I began the pill at the beginning of the month I had some light bleeding very similar to a light period. Now that I am at the end of the month, I noticed my period hasn't arrived yet. According to my calendar, I'm 10 days late from the period I used to have when I was on the combined pill. My alarm raised because I have never experienced a missed period but I've been told the mini-pill has a higher tendency to lighten and stop periods all together. In my head i think "You're fine.

470885 tn?1326332637 I had absolutely no side effects with it and my period returned, regular and like clockwork, when I was almost 11 months PP. Once I stopped breastfeeding, my doctor switched me to a combination pill - he prescribed Marvelon, but the pharmacy gave me the generic version, Apri. I've taken all of the active pills and am now on day 3 of the placebos....and, although I've had some spotting, my flow hasn't started "for real" yet.
Avatar m tn ) When I was on teh pill and even now that Ive been off it for just over a month, I havent got a period. No period is normal after having a baby and its ok not to have it up to a year after the baby is born. Im not sure if the same thing applies when aborting. Usually a period doesnt come because of breast feeding but obviously you arent doing that.
Avatar f tn I have been off the pill Micronor for 3 month but have no periods.
Avatar f tn After that, you again may some some bleeding during thr time of the next period on the second pill. Or you might not have no bleeding until your period comes with the second pill form. It varies from body to body.
Avatar f tn Okay I am on this birthcontrol pill called Micronor it is a no estrigen pill. Well I have had a period every month but a few times when I would miss a few. However now I am a little over 50 days late of my period. I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative. I have been using a condom but a few times we have started having sex without one but would always finish with a condom and he never cam inside of me. Now my stomach and cramps get worse but I still do not have my period.
Avatar m tn So far not much has happened, my breasts are tender like they usually get before i get my period, and the tea has gave me some beginning cramps, but other than that, no period. I'm 19, and I'm not sure what to do. We use condoms and my birth control, but lately we have only been using my birth control, which should be effective anyways. I haven't taken a preg test yet because I don't "feel" pregnant. Help :/ PLEASE HELP, feedback would really calm my nerves..

Avatar n tn It is now the 15th of July (about 20 days late) and still no period with multiple negative HPT's. No change in diet or stress but I keep feeling like I am going to start any day but nothing happens and I also feel like I am ovulating again. Surely by now the test would show if I was pregnant and I wouldnt feel like i am going to start. What could be the problem please HELP!
Avatar f tn I am told the side effects are same except maybe less severe. If I switched to Micronor would I loose weight? From what I have heard regarding Micronor, side effects are awful for most. I can’t and won’t go back to being sick every month. I don’t know what to do and it is time for another shot. I don’t even know if the shot caused my second weight gain. I have other issues that could be causing the gain also.
959621 tn?1291250552 I told my doctor that I am done with all of this. She told me that this Micronor would put me on a regular schedule withing 3 months and now it has been almost 6 months and I have bled more than anything else. And when I am bleeding I cramp really really bad and my work and co-workers think I am putting on a show and I am sick of that too. If things don't calm down by Monday I am calling my doctor (even though she wanted me to wait a month) and tell them nothing is getting better.
Avatar f tn Micronor has stopped the period from feb - may. But the thing is while there was no period other parts of me were going through trouble. I think at this moment I rather endure the pain of being a woman then enduring the massive 36 pounds. Thyriod itself can already make me fat i dont need another reason for it to add on. Its day 1 since i stopped the birthcontrol I am starting to feel less puffy. Hopefully, by next month I can at least fit back into my chubby clothes.

Avatar n tn If you were my patient, I would advise you that if your tests are negative, you are not pregnant. It is very common to have irregular periods or even no period at all when you are nursing. If you don't want to be pregnant, you could try using a birth control pill such a Micronor (mini pill). There are lots of other alternatives too. Good luck!
Avatar n tn (I only get my period like 3 times a year because of the Micronor) I accidentaly purchased scented pads, and as a result of those, my lips have been very swollen and red. They are very irritated. I thought I had an allergic reaction to the pads, but the swelling went away, and today I woke up with the largest burning sensation ever. It hurts to go to the bathroom, and walk. I am drinking cranberry juice and I put in a VCF (vaginal contraceptive film) after my shower to kind of clean up things.
Avatar n tn talked wit my doc n she precribed a bcontrol pill called micronor, but after i started taking the pills i noticed i didnt get my period n i would constantly be feeling harsh pains in my abdomen that lasted about 3 mths so i decided to stop takin them my period came back about a week after i stopped & their was no more pains either, that was in january...
