the dr put me on tri-sprintec for 6 months. I was getting pregnancy symptoms the whole nine and then I started to think I was going through menapause...ugh I hope my period comes next month. The pill was to regulate my periods and then hopefully after 4 to 6 months I can get pregnant.

My friends that already have kids have bleed up to 6 weeks after giving birth. But it's not as bad as periods. They didn't have any cramping or anything with it. Just all the blood that's coming out from being stored up in your body for 9 months lol.

Hi,no not really. I had once missed my cycle once for a whole 13months? who would of thought it.... I was so scared and thiught the same thing but no other women in my family on either side have any complicatons with TTC. For what ever reason this happened and then I got my cycles back and they were 35 day cycle lengths, then 32. They are now VERY regular and I have a cycle every 28-31 days. I have gotten pregnant 4 times but sadly ended in miscarriages.

Condoms are probably the best form of contraceptive as they protect you from STD too but as we all know they can break.

take provera for 6 days and stop, have a period come, next month take provera for 6 days and stop, have a period come, etc. I think as long as you are taking the Provera, you don't get a period. Maybe you should check in with your doctor and be sure you are understanding the instructions you were given.

Hi Im 26. Never been pregnant before. I havent had my period for 2 months, all the pregnancy tests are coming back negative. We only use spermicide so it is possible that i could be pregnant but I dont have strong symptoms. Im not nauseous, my breasts kindof burn off and on but its barely noticeable. If im not pregnant than something else is wrong.... Any ideas? I am in no pain.

I just go like you normally would count months. 40 weeks means you hit the 10 month which means you were pregnant for 9 full months. so right now me being 22 weeks I count as 5.5 months...maybe I'm wrong but it works for me.

Have you seen a doctor at all? You need to and request a blood test be done. It's rare (very rare) for women to not know they're pregnant for months on end. It's also quite uncommon to never show up on a home pregnancy test when used correctly.

While it's *very unlikely*, this type of irregularity can be caused by a medical condition. Nurses/doctors (at least where I live) typically say that if you've just recently started your first period, you should not be concerned about not having your period unless you've gone 3 months or more without it. Considering you've gone 4 months without it, it's best you speak with your doctor just to be safe. When I was 12, I went nearly 6 months without my period.
