Renal complications tend to be functional changes unrelated to identifiable histologic findings. Rarely, patients with Wilson disease develop renal stones and associated symptoms. Avatar f tn I'm sorry I don't know the answer to that question but I didn't want you to think that nobody is answering you. I can't remember ever seeing this discussed before and I"ve been on this forum for three years. There are some very smart people on here and I will try and flag a couple of them to get a response. There is hope honey. They are working on new drugs constantly now - they've realized just HOW MANY Americans have this disease and don't even know it.
Avatar m tn I would ask the doctor and/or pharmacist if the tingling will go away after she gets off the Nitrofurantoin and if so then if she can tolerate it and it is working well then you can either up to dose of neurontin or try to tolerate it until the antibiotic is finished. If not then switch. I would not go off anything until talking to the doctor. Depending on the dose of Gabapin, she may have to taper off of it as you cannot go off of it immediately. You will get rebound insomina.
