Hello, I've been having this dandruff problem for few years now. I thought shampooing could resolve this issue, especially by using Head&Shoul*** shampoo or Cle** shampoo. Do you have tips on how to get rid of them? Natural and the cheapest way if possible, coz some of my dandruff sometimes results in minor wound like patches.
She prescribed me 4 different types of shampoos/treatments. One was just like a tar shampoo like Neutrogena T-Gel. One was a see-thru red shampoo. One smelled similar to the T-gel but was prescription strength and was a tan/pinkish color. The last one was a squirt bottle type thing to put directly on my scalp at night. Basically I alternated these treatments every week or two and it usually got better within a week and completely cleared up a month later.

Hello. I'm a 20 year old male and during the fall season of 2012 my scalp started really iching and my hair started to shed severely around the crown region. During this time I also had dandruff. This itchyness and dandruff persisted for about another 3 months, that's when I jumped on Nizoral 1%. It stopped the dandruff and the itching, but till this day I'm shedding and its very noticable. My hairloss started at the crown and has worked its way up to my hairline.

The spots are not scaly. Whenever he applies a dandruff shampoo to it, it eases and goes away. He has been told that it is the dandruff that has run down to his face.Others say that it is his high alcohol consumption which is in correlation to some liver disorder. I myself have had the same sort of thing lucky you had no burning it does sound like seborrhiec dermatitis using an anti dandruff shampoo such as nizorelle (costs about £5.00) contains ketocozanle which acts as an anti fungal ingredient and can also be used as a body wash (so my doc informs me) in the dry hair only formulation it uses collagen to nourish and repair the hair shaft as well as improving overall condition.
