I am in so much pain in my scrotum area and leg, does that mean the virus is not latent and running up and down my nerves or because I am not experiencing OB but nerve pain, do I have nerve damage? Confused as to how to control the nerve pain, Wondering if herbs such as Olive Leaf Extract, co-enzymatic Vit B complex, could help with the nerve pain. I don't believe the Valtrex is working for me; Side affect is a very bad headache.

Does anyone experience jaw pain? I am beginning to hurt all over. The pain starte in my arms and legs but now I ache all over. The pain comes and goes. It seems to get worse when I get cold. My NS said there was nothing else he could do surgically. He referred me back to the pain management doctor.

I did have some relief with therapy, I do not take any medication. The symptoms that I feel are constant headache, neck shoulder arm pain numbness and weakness in my hands right worse than left. I also have numbness in my right bicep muscle. Would tingling in my feet be related to my neck? I have not be referred to any specialist and am not much of a complainer. I'm back at work, I do a lot of reading and computer work, and my symptoms are back . Just looking for some advice.

it's probably the disc hitting a nerve, causing your symptoms. I have a disc in my neck that "acts up", causing pretty severe pain right in the middle of my left bicep. The thing that's scary is the fact that no amount of narcotic even begins to touch this type of pain, at least for me. The only thing that tempoorarily "cure" it is simple rest. I could get a surgery, but it's still intermitten enough to not warrant any treatment.

I also have severe pain in my neck when I turn it to the side or up and down.I was assured that by now I would be pretty much pain free but here I am asking why I'm not!! Since then and before then he has suffered nerve pain that runs from his neck all the way down to his left hand with numbness. I have nerve damage in my leg after major back surgery and double knee surgery. It has been over two years and the chronic pain I will live dose not make the nerve damage and the oain I aleeady have. Mine didn't gwt this bad untul after the surgeries. I just had an EMG rest done so they could rule out bone root damage which requires more surgery. I am know in low dose pain patches and a topical compound which has lessened rhe shooting pain that goes along with the numbness and pain.

You may certainly have wrist tendonitis, but why the neck and shoulder pain. The pain and numbness you are having could be from your neck and an EMG would assist with that answer. It is a nerve conduction study. You also need an xray and MRI of your neck to rule out that as a cause for your numbness. I would see a neurologist.

I had it done and it is amazing how much it has helped. Gone from taking megadoses of pain killers for the neck and shoulder/back pain to letting my almost full bottle of pain killers expire. The nerves do grow back but hopefully the protrusion has receded enough to not be afecting the spine/nerves. ALSO, found that this pain is not uncommon for those bending down to read the computer screen for hours on end. Hope this helps.
