I also developed a mild sore throat that lasted 2 weeks followed by 2 lymph node enlargement in the back of my neck and one right under my jaw. The ones in the back of my neck were mildly itchy and had redness over it. One appeared 2 weeks after the sore throat ended and the skin was kind of hard but it went down after a week or so, 3 weeks later, same thing happened with a lymph node in the other side of my neck (still the back).
The other day I was out golfing and I got stung on the top on my head by either a bee or a wasp, the swelling started but worsend after a nights sleep. Shortly after I noticed two bumps on thr back on my neck. So now I'm wondering, is it normal for bug bites and sting to cause lymp nodes to swell?
Pimples are bumps and are sitting on the outside of your skin. Pimples do not look or feel like lymph nodes. Lymph nodes can be painful if you have an infection, but pimples/bumps can be painful also. It sounds like you have a couple of pimples near your hairline, which is pretty normal for people to get. These pimples are often not painful, but sometimes they can be a little sore, especially if you keep picking with it...

Hi i hope everyone is well. I am a 24 year old female that has had some imaging biopsy and blood work done this past year. I started teaching this year and started worrying about my health and looking for lumps in my neck and I found one. My pcp checked me out and said I did have enlarged lymph nodes in my neck and under my jaw. She checked me for mono and it came back negative.
Never heard about lymph node pain this long. I think nodes are not swollen. The neck ultrasound a month ago was normal. I feel normal and do not have any other complaints. Just maybe the back of my right knee is itchy sometimes. I do not know if there is a connection though.
I saw an MD (oncologist) for this problem and he requested some test such as CBC, liever enzym test: ALT, AST, ALP, LDH, and ESR and blood smear. He says he did not see any symptoms of Lymphoma.

N i suffer from headaches like pressure.. N ringing or clog ears.. Weird.. I had a ct scan 4 5 months ago.. N it was fine other then a bit of sinus.. m experiencing severe pain everywhere I have lymph nodes. I am able to feel the nodes in my neck. My armpits and groin area hurt but I cannot feel the lumps..yet. I've checked my fever, and I don't have one. The pain and lymph nodes are my only symptoms but they are enough to get me worried about HIV agaib. Also, the pain isn't constant. It comes and goes, especially in my groin area. Could this possibly be ARS? Is it on for these symptoms to come a year later?
Has a doctor ever checked your neck lymph nodes, or anything about your neck that might be causing that pain?

I'd hate for you to undergo the prostatectomy and expect every thing else to be better and still have that pain.
Have you seen a CPPS specialist?
heterogeneous thyroid suggestive of thyroiditis. multiple lymph nodes in the neck. difficult to distinguish some of these from parathyroid lesions.
is the lobe size variation normal? is the lymph node size abnormally large?
i had another sono done today and am waiting to get results. if there are still swollen lymph nodes, what would be the next step? and what would that mean? is there a possibility of cancer/lymphoma?
If you still have swollen lymph nodes, call around to find a place that might be able do a biopsy or run some tests on your affected lymph nodes. This might reveal the cause of why your lymph nodes are swollen.
Swollen lymph nodes indicate that your body is fighting an infection. It could be HIV but it could also be bacterial or viral such as herpes. You could even have an infected tooth that you are unaware of.
The following day I discovered more swollen (but not painful) lymph nodes in my neck/jaw region. The lymph node was painful for 2 days. On January 5th I discovered swollen lymph nodes in my armpits. One lymph node, on the left side, was painful. The pain went away in 2 days as well, but they're still swollen like the ones in my neck/jaw.

hi,i am lynda1966.i had a scan in April,as i have 4 swollen lymph nodes on left neck,2 on the right and also ,feel my neck swells,i have underactive thyroid and take 200mg tyroxine daily.well the scan came back normal,dr said to go drink some wine and see if it effects my nodes/neck,strange i thought,but took his advise,i am not a drinker,only on special occasions.had some guiness last week,and my neck started aching like it came alive,but with discomfort.
I have had swollen lymph nodes in my neck since my childhood. They get larger when I have infection/illness. The last few months I have added swollen lymph nodes along my collar bone mainly in the left should, but there is some on the right. Do I need to push harder to have the lymph nodes test. Not thinking cancer, but it is hopeful that once they biopsy the nodes, they can get a understanding of why.
I am interested in what others say to you on what you have.

Your statement, "since august (3 moths now) i have like 4 lymph nodes on my neck" is incorrect, as you've head your lymph nodes since birth. I didn't read anything of concern for STDs.
