Avatar m tn They both came back normal. I’m very worried about having a brain tumor. Does it sound like a brain tumor or could I just be suffering from tension headaches and tight neck muscles?
670780 tn?1225733635 My father has a brain tumor and the doctors did not catch it right away. As a result they could not remove it all and now it has spread. Early detection is key. If you google the symptoms of a brain tumor you will find many of the things you describe above. I would check with a local clinic and see if they can recommend a place to get an MRI.
Avatar n tn Hi there I had bad headache it is with me for 11 weeks now it's getting worst everyday anyone it accompany with a neck pain this few days I can feel pain on my shoulder blade .
Avatar f tn This past week has been horrible for me. Last Saturday, it just started that it seemed like I couldn't read silently. My husband did the mini stroke test, and I passed that. From an MRI on my neck about a year and a half ago, it was confirmed that I do have oesteophytes in my neck causing neck stiffness and occaisional pain.
Avatar n tn But they can't find an intracranial tumor in the MRIs, only an unresectable intramedullary one. So what could be causing the intracranial symptoms (headache, aphasia, neck pain, nausea and dizziness)? He can't have radiation or chemo for the spinal tumor either due to the pancreas/kidney transplant and the complications it could create for them. Is there some alternative for pain relief besides resection?

Avatar f tn ve NEVER seen any STD give the symptoms you describe, so stop that thought. NOBODY on here can tell you if you have a brain tumor. We are helpful, but not psychic, all-knowing wizards with Xray/MRI vision...which you'd need to find a brain tumor. I can't imagine how you will do in college, if you are this stress wracked in your senior year. This can't be fun for you!

Avatar f tn I had never experienced something like this and i worry that it might be something serious like a brain tumor. Are these symptoms like the ones from a barin tumor or could this be something else. I would highly appreciate a response and/or advice. Thank you.
Avatar n tn Also, in 3-4 years you would have most likely developed other symptoms (or be dead by now) if it were a brain tumor. That said, it might be appropriate to have an mri to help figure out what is going on. You should see a neurologist for an examination - if you haven't already. Best of luck...
Avatar n tn I need help. I've been experiencing several symptoms: First, for the past several months I've had pressure behind my right eye Second, Ive had a pulse in my right ear for a few weeks. Finally, for the past week over been experiencing stabbing pains in my head, I don't have a history of headaches nor migraines, and I've never experienced these stabbing pains before this past week. On 8.29 I had nitrous for the removal of a large tattoo on my back.
Avatar n tn I will begin by admitting how terrified I am that I have a brain tumour! I have had a continuous dull headache for two weeks now and no amount of medication seems to shift it. It seems to be worse in the morning, and I have a really stiff neck. Its there all day and worse when I do exercise or bend over. Im also pretty sure my vision is getting worse, although I went to the opticians who seem to think my eye sight is virtually perfect.
Avatar m tn i told my doctor two years ago that i had a brain tumor and she said it was emotional issues. i tried to tell her i am not an emotional person i was just upset because of the current situation me thinking i had a brain tumor. she didnt lissen to me than asked me my past history... i have had a hard life which just further fueled her judgements on me. she gave me an EEG and released me.
Avatar f tn Temporal tendinitis mimics migraines including TMJ pain temporal headaches, tooth sensitivity, neck and shoulder pain. Treatment includes injecting local anesthetics and other medicines, moist heat muscle relaxants and NSAIDs along with physiotherapy. Multiple sclerosis would also need to be excluded.
