Avatar f tn They can be helpful for many things, but I strongly believe exercise should be a natural process, not one pushed by supplements. That becomes unhealthy too much of the time as you move to more and more unnatural supplements that can work but aren't good for you because you aren't satisfied with the slow results that natural processes produce.
Avatar f tn ) or any of those types constipate me. I was hoping for a natural suggestion to talk with my doctor about. They are not very informed with natural treatments of things and said they would talk with another doctor and let me know what they want to try next. I figured since I am on here I might as well ask if you know of natural treatments for FM so that I have a list in case they don't!

Avatar f tn My fiancé has vertigo. He's on medication for it and it's only getting worse. He has significant food allergies due to a disease he contracted while dealing with a raccoon. Doctors put him on medication because they don't know what is causing his vertigo. He will be standing up and next thing you know he is grabbing for something to keep himself upright. His eyes go back in his head and he yawns after it happens. He had a head CT and MRI. Nothing noted.
1192727 tn?1282735542 I took Folic acid and even pre-natel vitamins for a while before I got pregnant to build up my vitamins. Also drinking water and making sure you are well hydrated helps.
Avatar n tn But this is just one more bit of evidence that we need to look for safe, natural alternative treatments before writing prescriptions for problems like nausea and vomiting.
Avatar m tn He put me on a fluid pill Dyazide once a day taken along with potassium tablets, and lipoflavinoid vitamins for inner ear and I take an Antivert for my sudden attacks of vertigo. Antivert makes me drowsy but takes care of my dizziness. Meniere's is not curable but they can treat your symptoms. Good Luck!!!!!!!!
Avatar f tn Does anybody have any suggestions on vitamins that I could get for DH? I'm going to wait a few more months before I make an appointment with an RE, but I feel there is something that we can be doing now to help increase our fertility. I'm currently taking pre-natals, but don't know if I should also be supplementing? Has anybody tried the FertilAid, with any success?
Avatar f tn Can anyone suggest any natural/vitamins for fertility? I am 43 and want to concieve naturally. I would appreciate your input and stories of success with natural methods. Thank you!
Avatar m tn I had vertigo for the 1st time ever in December 2014. Went to an ear specialist and was diagnosed with BPPV. Had a maneuver performed by the neurologist and seemed to have worked. I felt a little weird the days after the maneuver but eventually went away, but 2 months later the vertigo seems to be back. I've had this problem for over a month now and have no clue of what to do, I've had a ct scan, mri, and many visits to different doctors.
Avatar n tn Have tried several medications such as Zyrtec D, Flonase, Nasonex, Xyzal....also nasal rinses, and some vitamins and herbs...nothing works for long. Today the doc decided to start testing me for allergies to try to get to the root of the fluid and swelling in my ears. Your results sound interesting. I have in the past from time to time has what I think are fever blisters around the corners of my mouth. Is there a test for Herpes simplex 1? I may mention this to my ENT next time I go there.
941766 tn?1257796601 Can anyone advise of good vitamins to take for anxiety and depression. I am starting to feel better and want to control by natural vitamins and exercise. Also has anyone tried 5-htp or any of the natural stuff? I can't take anti-depressants. I do take 1.5 mgs of Kolopin at bedtime which has finally started to help.
Avatar f tn Hi everyone! I'm looking for natural remedies like supplements and vitamins that are best for combatting it. I've heard saw palmetto and licorice helps, but I wanted to know what you ladies use personally and what works best. I have hirsutism, terrible acne and I am overweight. I also believe I am prediabetic, as my grandmother on my father's side had diabetes and my mother, so it runs in both sides of the family.
9780765 tn?1405910914 m glad it did as it is a life saver for me. When I first started using the CPAP, I started to dream for the first time in a long while.. significant improvement. I also take provigil which has helped quite a bit for daytime sleepiness. I've also tried some night time natural sleep aides like: Dream Water and Averil and IChill. Dream water worked well for me, but is way too expensive.. pushing $100.00/month for an 'over the counter' remedy.
Avatar f tn The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) is just not up to scratch. Speaking of mislabelled products, Mike Adams from Natural News uncovered the "natural" blueberries in popular cereals, muffins, bagels and other foods are anything but natural. Instead of using real blueberries, companies (like General Mills) use artificial colours, hydrogenated oils (transfats!) and liquid sugars to manufacture small bits that mimic the look of blueberries. That is one false advertisement!
Avatar m tn am getting considerable relief sleeping by taking vitamins D and E. but not quite up to full restful sleep. is anyone using other vitamins that they think is assisting them to sleep properly?
560272 tn?1311350293 Katie, Folks on this forum have tried a million "natural" supplements, vitamins, herbs and oils and even dancing naked in corn fields.............Some swear by them, some say they are of no use and the jury is still out on many of them. The one and only thing I will advise you about ANY of these things is to consult with your doctor or a chemist befor you take ANYTHING!!!! Especially if you are on a prescription medication.
Avatar n tn Thank You Dr Paul for your response. On my MRI they found cerical disc 5-6 and 6-7 herniated. I have been trying to tell my Dr it could be a circulation issue to the brain as I have low BP. He disagrees....but when I wera a neck brace the dizziness and ear pressure goes away? He said the cervical discs could have been there for a while...but this all started when my neighbour rear-ended me? Can this be the cause???
Avatar f tn I have even heard that SAM-E can help. B vitamins are essential for proper brain function as well. If there is hyperactivity involved, magnesium is very relaxing and may help. I hope that you continue to try the no-medication route. Being placed on prescription stimulants for ADHD at 6 years old and being on them for years has left me with disabling, treatment-resistant depression.
Avatar f tn I dont understand why some of u are filling urself with so much vitamins..did u calculate ur body needs and do u overpass it? To much vitamins isnt good too..
