Too much zinc is toxic, children by being out in the sun regularly usually have plenty of Vitamin D. Now, magnesium is a problem, particularly given how much milk we drink.
Avatar f tn They can be helpful for many things, but I strongly believe exercise should be a natural process, not one pushed by supplements. That becomes unhealthy too much of the time as you move to more and more unnatural supplements that can work but aren't good for you because you aren't satisfied with the slow results that natural processes produce.
Avatar f tn ) or any of those types constipate me. I was hoping for a natural suggestion to talk with my doctor about. They are not very informed with natural treatments of things and said they would talk with another doctor and let me know what they want to try next. I figured since I am on here I might as well ask if you know of natural treatments for FM so that I have a list in case they don't!

We finally opted for IVF with ICSI ( the only option when you have male factor) and I just had my embryo transfer 3 days ago and am waiting. Avatar f tn Hi everyone! I'm looking for natural remedies like supplements and vitamins that are best for combatting it. I've heard saw palmetto and licorice helps, but I wanted to know what you ladies use personally and what works best. I have hirsutism, terrible acne and I am overweight. I also believe I am prediabetic, as my grandmother on my father's side had diabetes and my mother, so it runs in both sides of the family.
Avatar n tn I also take a liquid vitamin from a health food store because liquid vitamins are easier for the body to process, which is what we need when our terminal illeum is affected. That's the last part of the small intestines (which is usually affected by the Crohns) and it has a very important job in helping process vitamin B12 and also helps break down fat. When the terminal illeum is affected you may be missing B12 from your diet so watch that. It will make you very tired.
9780765 tn?1405910914 m glad it did as it is a life saver for me. When I first started using the CPAP, I started to dream for the first time in a long while.. significant improvement. I also take provigil which has helped quite a bit for daytime sleepiness. I've also tried some night time natural sleep aides like: Dream Water and Averil and IChill. Dream water worked well for me, but is way too expensive.. pushing $100.00/month for an 'over the counter' remedy.
Avatar f tn The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) is just not up to scratch. Speaking of mislabelled products, Mike Adams from Natural News uncovered the "natural" blueberries in popular cereals, muffins, bagels and other foods are anything but natural. Instead of using real blueberries, companies (like General Mills) use artificial colours, hydrogenated oils (transfats!) and liquid sugars to manufacture small bits that mimic the look of blueberries. That is one false advertisement!
12162520 tn?1426012596 I was having lots of digestive problems with my prenatals and my doctor informed me to stop taking them. She assured me that she herself has three strong intelligent children and never used pre natal vitamins.
