natural stomach gas relief

My back starts hurting really bad and so does my stomach, like really bad and my stomach gets tight and I have gas. Is the pain from the gas? I could barely fall asleep last night bc I hurt so bad and ended up waking up a few hours later in pain. After I woke up this morning I felt fine. I'm 24w.

Cloves are good for gas. I'm not a big natural remedy type of person even, but that worked so well for gas pain. Just Google how to use cloves to make a cup of clove tea. The relief is almost instant!

In UK gas and air is used as a form of pain relief.. but on here the other day I saw someone from the USA ask what that was.. do you guys get offered it in the country your in? Its all im planning on using! (Hopefully haha ftm here!) Just being curious :) Have a good evening mummas!

I was in labor for 6hours with my 1st and i spent probably 3-4hours of that with with no pain relief and the rest with just gas and air which is why i wanna try no pain relief with this one! Thank you for sharing your experience! Has anyone else got some advice or their experience! A positive experience will be nice to here as well!

Any natural remedies for gas? It's not burping or coming out the other end, but it's just stuck in my stomach and since yesterday it's been very painful.

t aware that laying on their right side can cause gas to build up in your colon and form a gas bubble. The way the colon is shaped and with the gas rising upward, when laying on the right side it gets trapped in the ascending and transverse sections of the colon and is not as easily expelled as it is when laying on the left side. I recommend trying some OTC treatments like beano, gas X, prilosec, prevacid, Mylanta, mylox etc. for a few days.

So from last 1-2 year i am seriously suffering from various stomach and health problems such as nausea, loss of appetite, underweight, fullness and heaviness in stomach and gas and Acidity. Due to nausea, and sometimes vomiting on daily(most of the time) basis, I have no hunger or appetite for food most of the time due to which i feel weakness in body and pain in body parts and also feel Vertigo(Dizziness).

ve not seen any post where people have used other pain relief apart from epidural. It just seem a big leap from going all natural to an epidural.

ve always used baths as pain relief for period pain, stomach troubles, UTIs). Also went to Calmbirth classes (similar to hypnobirthing or Bradley method) to understand birth better and learn pain handling techniques. Had a great encouraging birth team too (midwife, husband, 2 sisters), plus essential oils, music, good lighting...it was a good set up, so much so, I actually really look forward to birth now as some kind of pampering treat!

Go for it. You can always change your mind when you are in labour. I'm going to a midwife led centre and they only offer birthing pools and gas and air. I really don't want any pain relief but this is my first so I don't know if I can do it I'm just going to try. If I want pain relief or have any complications I have to get moved to a hospital.

go for it! Gas and air is great and it is really special to have a natural labour. I'm hoping to give birth at home this time as my last labour went so well.

Trust me, my grandma has be using them for gas relief for years... I know for a fact they do work for that, now if they will work for you that way who knows but that why I say you should try... I still say try the Sprite cause that works for me... The strong carbonation will help push that gas either up or down and you will soon be able to burp or pass it thru... Good luck!!!

This is a funny question but it is something that is painful. I've had horrible, horrible gas pain for the last three days. I've tried gas-x but it hasn't helped. I waited too long to eat the other day and gobbled up a bag of popcorn. That's when the pain started. Even ginger tea hasn't helped. I drank some root beer and it helped some but it has artificial sweetener so i don't want to drink a lot of it. Help, I'm starting to worry.

Now the crazy thing is, after I eat a bowel of chocolate ice cream prior to bed, I start passing some serious gas ! even waking me up, Lol !!! Upon waking I continue to pass gas, start getting some relief, approx 2 hrs afterwards bloating/gas starts right back up, have a bowel movement it get's worse, I eat ice cream start passing alot of gas. Freakin crazy !!! Lol !!! Ice cream has an ingredient to relieve gas, wish I knew what it is.

I am getting up one or two nights a week with high pain on top of my stomach right under my rib cage. I move and have a lot of gas. I begin belching and as I continue to move I will finally get relief. I thought this was a reflux problem but priolesec doesn't seem like it is giving me relief. Any suggestions?

sometime i get gas buildup in my stomach that is very painful and it very hard for me to pass the gas that is rubbling threw my stomach it take hours before i can release gas gas-x want relief or make me pass gas and the pain in the upper middle of my stomach be hurting severe. Hi, I'm a 17 year old high school student and my stomach makes these weird noises. Sometimes it feels like I have gas and other times the noises will appear and I won't feel a thing. These noises have caused me to lose concentration during many tests and I do poorly on them. I have left school knowing I have a test just so I can take it by myself where no one can hear my stomach. I would like for my stomach to not control my every movement.

My husband is still having stomach issues with no relief. We made another trip to the ER today and had a CT scan with no results. ER dr. didn't have much to say but was more than willing to give pain meds, which my husband didn't want. His stomach swells after he eats, no matter what.
