Avatar n tn However in your son’s case the symptoms are far apart, except for the rash and fever. These are also signs of meningitis, but that is a more serious condition and will not linger for so long without serious repercussions. Diabetes should definitely be looked into. Rocky Mountain spotted fever is another possibility. Refractive errors of the eye should also be looked into. Fungal infections too should be investigated. Hope this helps. Do discuss these possibilities with your son’s pediatrician.
Avatar n tn I also suffer from horrible allergies and I am always taking an allergy pill and I also would take FLONASE every morning, I started to feel strange and weak, I would get headaches and my heart would feel like it was beating irregular and my chest would hurt. I thought that I was having a heart attack because my left arm would start to hurt. I started to think what could be making me feel this way and I started to do some research and came to the conclusion I should stop taking FLONASE.
Avatar n tn Some medical professionals think that they are caused by chronic fungal or other infections, and polyps sometimes respond to treatment by Nasonex.

1025806 tn?1333572690 t actually sinus headaches but are in fact migraine headaches. The allergies and sinus problems can trigger the headaches, but once you get a headache, that is probably a migraine. So, although the allergy medication is great for prevention, you still need an acute treatment for the headaches that is specifically for migraines and not for sinus pain or allergies. It's still important to take all of your daily sinus medications for the chronic sinus pain and allergies.
Avatar n tn t whether I should Just keep doing the Nasonex and nothing else and wait n see? or if I should take some Sudafed and see what that does. Im not usually a person that takes medicines a lot I usually just like to work out and exercise a lot and let my body take care of it. All test apparently came back normal.
Avatar n tn I am 19 years old and in college, and I have been having these strange headaches. They have been happening for about a month in a half. It is a dull to moderate pain. It dosen't keep me from doing my everyday runtine. I get them in my forehead, temples, top/back of head ( only in small spots and it is not long), and behind my eyes. My dotor said it dosen't sound like a tumor or an anyerisum, she said it may be a sinus problem. I am taking Nasonex but no help.
531684 tn?1216745984 I am one of those 'supposedly' rare cases. I used nasonex in the past years off and on. Doctors kept saying it was a rare side effect to have nose bleeds, yet I can't even get to the end of the complaints on the internet about nose bleeds from nasonex!
Avatar n tn However, my son has been on other medications for sinisitis and bronchitis that could account for a headache. He now off of pulmicort, xopenex and nasonex. He is currently going through allergy testing as well. It is very difficult for me to try to determine the cause of the headache with so much going on with him. He is feeling completely better aside from this headache.
Avatar n tn I just started using Nasonex (steroid nasal spray), and it really helps my allergies and sinus headache, and eye-related sinus problems. But I also have PVCs and my heart pounds a lot (can feel it in my head, back, etc). I'm wondering whether Nasonex is safe to take long term if I have these heart issues. Doctor just shrugged his shoulders when I asked. Anyone know?
Avatar n tn Hello, I have been taking Nasonex for 5 months now and starting 10 days ago, I started experiencing weird sensation in the left area of my chest, it would only happen 3 to 6 times a day and it would feel like someone just tapped the someone of my chest with a finger or two, after 3 or 4 days experiencing this, I just completly stopped using Nasonex and have been off Nasonex for 5 days and 11 hours now.

Avatar n tn My headaches come directly from the right side of the back of my upper neck. I now know this comes from allergies, because last year in the same month this happened. I wake up feeling extremely tired and puffy. I feel the swelling in my head and sinuses puts pressure on the nerves in my neck. My neck was injured by a chiropractor a couple of years ago, but has gotten better...I thought. Now I only have the pain and headaches during spring.
Avatar f tn Three weeks later the nausea developed as if I were pregnant and then the headaches that were like a bulls eye behind eyes and nose and face, central face. It did however radiate to ear on one side and jaw. I never had sinus issues and never had many headaches. These pains were stabbing pains like daggers behind the eyes and I had never in my life experienced this before. It was a definate clue that something was wrong.
Avatar n tn My blood pressure was checked two days ago and it was high. I am currently taking Nasonex for an ear infection. I have also been taking aspirin, ibuprofen, and acetaminophen for the last six months almost everyday to treat minor headaches. Now the headaches are different though, and they are very intense. They typically last four to five hours, but like I said before it has lasted all day today.
Avatar m tn s what competition is supposed to do. But noooooo... I went to CVS today and the price was $218 for Nasonex. That is a total ripoff... Why did the price go up? So what's the difference between Merck, the manufacturer, and a robber with a gun on the street? Answer: The gun. Merck robs you without using a gun. Very clever, taking advantage of peoples' medical conditions.
Avatar m tn I know that many cold remedies have Phenedrine and/or other stimlulants and I am wondering if any Afib patients out there take Nasonex or Flonase wihtout any problems.
Avatar m tn I have tried amoxicillin in case of a sinus infection, but that has done nothing, and I have also been using Nasonex daily to no avail. My first doctors visit came to the conclusion I had fluid in my ears which was causing the problem due to what they thought was ETD. but that was 5 days after the initial ringing. I've had two more doctor appointments since then, and they have done nothing to help.
Avatar n tn Started on Rhinochort in October-went to Nasonex, it worked better. Tried to discontinue medications in Feb and he had immediate symptoms again - returned to it. For the most part, both medications have resolved his symptoms. I did notice over the last year he has been moodier/yells at us/crys over little things - but attributed to his age. Avatar n tn I am alergic to alot of things and since november have been off work because of them, the headaches, and the sinus.
Avatar f tn swollen sinuses is what it sounds like, ask a doctor about it and get prescribed medication to keep the swelling down. something like nasonex will help, but that's mostly based on swelling caused by allergies... none the less, ask a doctor.
