Compiled data has revealed that between 2002 and 2009,
the narcolepsy rate among children under age 17 was 0.31 per 100,000. But
in 2010, that number jumped to 5.3 per 100,000, which represents a 17-fold increase.
Similarly, research compiled by Markku Partinen of the Helsinki Sleep Clinic and Hanna Nohynek of the National Institute for Health and Welfare in Finland, both of which were also involved in the new research, has determined a link between Pandemrix and narcolepsy.
