He is taking syndopa and some ayurvdic medicines. Movements or shaking of legs or hands are in control. He cant bear cool breeze, even fans etc.
But, sometimes he cant stand on his own.

The most problematic thing is
many times in a day, he feels heaviness in head, choking of nose, difficulty in breathing etc.
then he uses nasal spray, washing nose with hot water, steam etc.
after some time he gets relief.
Montelukast, Asthalin Inhaler (SOS), Budecort Inhaler (once a day)
Is there anything to be kept in mind here?

Generally people seem to feel symptom relief when their FREE T4is in the MIDDLE of the reference range AND (that means in addition to) their FREE T3 is in the UPPER 1/3 of the range. Simply being somewhere within range is NOT sufficient to feel well for most people. Although Dr's will often not believe this. In addition some Dr's do not believe in any testing beyond TSH. If your Dr. is like this RUN, don't walk away to find another Dr.
That being said a TSH of 8.
High cholesterol runs in my family so even with diet and exercise my numbers are still a little high. I started getting heart palpitations a few years ago and after a lot of testing was told they were harmless PVC's/PAC's. Well, I stoped taking my Tricor and Zocor for a few months and my heart palps were gone. The problem is that my cholesterol numbers went back up. I started back on the statins and low and behold the palps returned.
It will get better with time. Give it another 2-3 weeks and see if it is helping. If not, consider discussing a lower dosage (if it is working well) or different medications with your psychiatrist. I take buspar for anxiety, which is the only medicine that was originally invented for anxiety. It doesn't mean that the secondary uses of other medications is any less effective, it is just that the primary purpose of it is to treat anxiety.

The problem with newer anti-depressents is they are often not covered by insuances and can be quite ppricy. Have you tried combos of meds before? Such as a mood stabilizer and a milder dose of an anti-depressent? Buspar is a common medication used fdor GAD, it is not a benzodizepine, so generally addiction free. and is similar to an anti-depressant in that you have to take it for several weeks to see effects.
I wish mainstream medicine was more respectful of natural medicines. I also wish insurance recognized them as actual medicines and covered at least some of the cost."
To do that we have to first repeal the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) of 1994.

I am a big believer that the older child should be completely included so they do not feel left out. My children even go to delivery and watch the birth which they love and it makes them feel big and included.
