15388876 tn?1440346642 I failed to mention that a month before my Ablation, I was bike riding (brand new bike so excited to ride for the first time) looked up, snake on trail and didn't want to run over it, stopped too fast throwing me off my seat and crashed down on the crossbar. I started bleeding from the trauma profusely (you can use your imagination as to where I was bleeding from) but had to get myself home. Got home went to ER, 6 hours later was released cause bleeding stopped.
Avatar n tn It is so annoying!!! There is nothing I could see on my leg and every brush I do, my hand ends up being dry, not wet. What could be the possible cause of this??? I thought about posting in the Neurology forum as well as skin-ology. I thought it might be possible it had something to do with nerves in my leg that's causing this wet feeling.
Avatar f tn A little over a month ago I had unprotected sex with a girl I didn't really know but met through friends one thing led to another we had sex with a condom on and then again without one because I didn't have another one at the time I am usually always safe this was just a mistake I had made. I told my friend the next day I had sex with this girl and he said "you better of worn a condom" my heart immediately sank I said "why?
Avatar n tn These are my concerns and would like some education on at least GI related symptoms and their relavance to my history. Thanks a bunch!
Avatar n tn Well i'm on day 3 of a 2nd try at taking Lexapro on the advice of my physician. Last time the increase from 5 mg to 10mg after two days caused intense side effects that made me stop taking it. This time I am taking a much slower increase 5 mg for first week, then to 10mg to try and reduce the impact of the symptoms but I can tell after 3 days I am a bit more aggitated, nervous, anxious but nothing like last time. Also last time I was really against taking medication.. now... i'm ok with it....
1408746 tn?1283678948 They finally listened to my pleas of pain in my pelvic and did a pelvic MRI on me only to discover I had Pelvic Congestion. I was dumbfounded. Everything I had read stated that only woman who have had multiple pregnancies develop this syndrome. After a failed IVF, and a couple attempts at chlomid, and folistm, I was still childless. My doctor then proceeded to give me the Pelvic Congestion Diagnosis and sent me away telling me to keep trying.
Avatar n tn The first one was done on March of 2003 (my daughter was sent to Iraq during the war) (My daughter was sent for the second time last November and she is still there). This will be my second biopsy with my daughter in Iraq, I feel very stressed out due to other things also, I have 4 children and would like to see them married, I am 46 years old. Once again, please pray for me. Thank you.
Avatar m tn It's a full body workout and the water supports your weight so you're not putting a big amount of stress on your knees. I agree, it's hard to plan when your schedule's crazy, but I think at some point you have to make a conscious decision about putting your health first. Once you do that, you'll find a way to manage it. When you do get a chance to eat, it'll be all about the choice of what you eat, and that takes a conscious decision too - not just grabbing what's quick and easy.
Avatar n tn And I just noticed that newly there are some small, very tiny red dots (blood kind of) one on my cheek, on on my arm and some 2 on my thigh. Please advise.
Avatar f tn Hang in there. Today and tomorrow will probably be the worst of it. I forced myself to go to the gym on day 3 and I felt like hell. But, I did it. Just tried to focus on something other than how I was feeling like crap. I am at 19 days clean today off of Norco. You can do it!
429155 tn?1205676864 Just after Christmas 07 my 40mg 2x a day started, then I caught a virus, and was very ill, and it just would not go away, nausea, aches and pains all over, I blamed it all on this virus, never really suspecting the real culprit, yes you know don't you, it was because I had cut down on the oxycontin, and my body was craving it, this went on for 7 weeks, until one day it dawned on me what it was, by this time I had become tired all the time, getting up early and doing nothing, then backwards an
955456 tn?1316230779 For me excersicing is what kept my wigglys under control. Just stay focused on work-not on your flu-like symptoms. They WILL pass- you will survive and you WILL get your life back. Hopefully this type of taper will be workable for you.....if waiting 2.5 hours is to long for your 1/2 pill-heck cut the pill into 1/4's and only wait 1 hour and 15 minutes between quarters....whatever it takes. Don't get to focuses on waiting for the pill...
Avatar f tn I just find it ironic that my health was never the same after I contracted the EBV virus and since that time I've developed these MS symptoms unfortunately. My belief is that based on my genetics I was more suspectable to developing MS and when I contracted the EBV virus my immune system couldn't fight off this infection and it eventually went haywire and those EBV antibodies started attacking my myelin sheath instead triggering my MS. That's my strong belief but its an unproven hypothesis.
12773 tn?1328916786 We also had a dog left behind who was very down and depressed at being a single dog. On my own, I probably would have waited a bit longer, but my husband found the perfect dog at a shelter and adopting her was the best thing that could have happened for all of us. You sound as though you have a very big heart, and I'd bet there's room in it to love another dog. Time really does heal all wounds, but meds can help you over the hump of situational depression. Something to look into maybe?
Avatar m tn Cataracts do reduce night vision so that may be part of it (since even my 20/20 correctible eye had a cataract even though it hadn't cut back on visual acuity, and that may have been cutting down on contrast, and my 20/100 eye certainly had less contrast). I also wore a multifocal contact lens before this which probably cut back on night vision though.
Avatar n tn there's this white stuff coming out of my vagina. and before that happened, like a couple of weeks before my vagina kept on itching and i was wondering y that happened.

590279 tn?1286339622 So one day the end of May 2007 I was sitting on my couch studying as usual. I noticed pain in my cheeks and the bridge of my nose and some tightness in my forehead. This is turn seemed to affect my eyes as it seemed when I was studying that words seemed either over focused or doubled, at the same time. My concentration was affected and I would sit there rubbing my face. At this point I found decongestants seemed to help and I could go along as usual.
Avatar n tn I have recently noticed a dent forming in my hip right above my buttox closer to my side than my spine. I've never ever had it in my life. I have gained a little weight recently, and I had a baby a year and a half ago. I recently started working out and my workout consist of a lot of leg lifts and pelvic tilts. Sometimes I have minor back pain, but I don't have very good posture and have had some slight pains throughout my lifetime, so I don't think that it has anything to do with it.
1143266 tn?1262042196 D Then I decided to go to my gym and do my workout for the day. I just got back, and it felt sooo good. As I was on the bike, I felt as if I was almost sweating out bulimia. Sounds strange I know, bad analogy maybe, but I just feel stronger now every time I work out because I have food in me and I'm hydrated now. Before I would work out completely empty after a purge even sometimes. I'm lucky I didn't collapse. Well, I'm going to jump in the shower because I'm stinky and sweaty. lol.
Avatar m tn As I said in my last post, I'm not counting the days but I think I'm 60 something now. It seems like that bad time in my life is a "lifetime" behind me. I've substituted my use with getting back to the gym, where I have spent a great deal of time in my adult life. I'm really happy with my progress, I've shot up from 197 to 216 lbs in around 6 weeks and dropped 2" in my waist. Some of my "poundages" have more than tripled.
Avatar f tn Before working out, I get my arches taped for extra support, and after working out (running, lifting, jumping) I always stretch and roll my muscles. Then, I ice my shins for 20 minutes. Just recently, my coach has begun myofascial release on my calves/shins. (I have yet to see definitive results, and although my calves are usually sore after he works on them, I sometimes notice that my shins feel a little better.
597354 tn?1227201532 After 2 years of no exercise because of injuries and surgeries and then the HASHI beast, I am going to do an exercise class tonight. I am also going back on my weight watchers program - I am a lifetime member but have been a couple pounds over my goals since hashi's. It was more but I go up/down. I'm excited but a little nervous at the same time. I used to be so into exercise and great physical shape and aerobic capacity but I can barely walk up stairs now without breathing heavy.
Avatar f tn You destroyed 45 years of my life. You ruined my adolescence, my young adulthood, and most of my middle-aged years, watching and waiting, arbitrarily striking wherever and whenever you pleased. You caused me to give up normal daily activities other people take for granted. You hampered my independent spirit. You caused me to avoid most people and group activities, for fear of having an attack in front of them. I detest you and what you did to me.
Avatar n tn While the fear of retinal detachment is frightful, the idea that my lifestyle will be severely altered is the most depressing, as I do not want to put the weight back on. Can you please advise on the exercise regime? What other things besides roller coasters, sky diving, should be avoided. Does extensive reading or computer use present any additional risk?
Avatar f tn Hey everyone, I have just recently started to diet to lose some weight gained while on Lexapro. I'm shooting for 10 to 15 pounds. My question is, do any of you find milk to be a good aid in your dieting efforts. So far I've lost 3 pounds.
Avatar m tn Before people point to the possiblility of HIV I have only received unprotected oral sex twice in my lifetime. I have never had sex, and from seeking the HIV forum on the website and various searches on google I found that HIV cannot be transmitted through oral sex. So does anyone have any other idea what this could be?
544292 tn?1268886268 Hi and Welcome Tramadol Warriors, Please come on in and make yourself comfy. All are welcome.
1742220 tn?1331360327 he is so weird. Yesterday after I got in the morning I did my workout and weights. I returned the calls and texts and then I put my phone away, in the dresser drawer, and went out and saw a movie. it has been a long time since I went to the movies. it was all a vague memory to me, I felt like I was from another planet. I don't know if ive ever gone to the movies alone. cant remember.
Avatar n tn As I was reaching for something, the metal part of the lock scratched my arm around my elbow, and it bled. I immediately got the bottle of cologne out of my bag, sprayed it on since I usually use that as disinfectant, and put a bandaid. Didn't think about it during the workout but as I got home, I started saying what if there was some dried blood on the lock, and started to panick and what if there was a risk of infection. I don't recall seeing any blood on the lock.
