I'm posting this about my 58-yr-old retired father who has the doctors stumped on his condition. A little history: he has psoriasis, degenerative discs in the back with severe nerve damage in the legs, high blood pressure (regulated with meds), and baret's asophogus. He recently had vascular surgery to his left leg with good results and will eventually have back surgery. But, it's been months since the surgery and his left foot has suddenly become very swollen.
At the doctors office i always get blood pressure readings of 154/88 with heart rate in the mid 100s. This made me nervous and anxious and it was hard to believe my doctor that i had white coat hypertension and tachycardia. However, now at home i am getting readings of 114/65 HR 58 bpm. I definately have white coat syndrome and my anxiety is very relieved.
ve been depressed ..because I feel I am not healthy due to my past. What should I do for better health..and will the days of parting affect my future? ..My main concern is am I going to be able to have kids and have healthy children? If I stay drug-free, eat healthy and excersie for next few years...will my sperm create a healthy child? Is there a way I can get my sperm tested to see if its ok...I've notice that ...when masturbating..my sperm seems low.
I swear I have lost my mood and my heart beats every second I think of it. I thought the oraquick kit would bring me peace but confusions instead I have read so many online things that this test kit is not accurate. My other question was " is it possible that it may have picked up the 17D IgM antibodies that's in my system from a yellow fever vaccination?
Also, I was on an exercise bicycle last week and it monitored my heart rate----it went from 50bpm to 102 bpm very fast, but lately my heart rate has been going up and down like a yo yo for no reason. The dr. in the hospital said the rapid heart beat could be coming from the aortic valve since it has to work harder. Is this true? Could there be some underlying heart condition that is not manifesting itself?
my husband says i take spells of pointing my finger out and i move head up and down with mouth opening and shutting and lasts he says 2 to 3 mins.also my eyes r in a stare after i get over it i dont remember doing this.well i didnt think i done this i argue he was crazy.well while having dinner with 4 other people i did this all wittness it.so maybe iam.whats weird is i do same movements everytime i take the spells. iam scared what could this be??please help me know ty..
bradycardia means that you have a slow heart rate ... I know what you are going through i am also 17 and i had my monitor a couple of times and somtimes the doc's don't say a word and you have to find out !! So i recomend you to see a doctor who will explain it to you so you don't get over worried and get what ever heart condition you have to be worse ..... best of luck ...

Hi, Thanks for posting your consultation with your doc, firstly not sure what all the bloodwork will be for, but certainly the heart, my neuro is sending me to see a cardiologist I have not had repeated episodes of passing out(only the one) only thing I can think of is I have a very rare neurological condition that attacks my autonomic system maybe that is why my neuro is arranging for me to get the tilt table test done.

In Oraquick HIV Test home kit, developer solution is provided where we insert the specimen. After test was over the solution spilled over my pants and penis. Can you please let me know if it pose any HIV risk?

Has he ever been check for this? Another thing could be a problem with a heart valve. MVP for short. My daughter and one of my nephews have this and they have the same symptoms as your boyfriend. The stabbing chest pain, trouble breathing and weakness. I of course can not say either of these are the problem. He will have to see a Dr and have tests done.
