1809109 tn?1331807377 Would love a way to enter a recipe ingredient by ingredient (as I can on my fitness pal)... I like your overall app better, but can't fully utilize it without being able to build recipes. I make two smoothies daily and I toss randoms in there - I like to see the nutritional value of the whole things as one recipe. Hope you update it for android soon!
1880029 tn?1335039839 I track all my calories through my fitness pal. I am on 1900 calories a day. It may not sound like enough but my Dr cleared it because I am already overweight. I want to gain only what I need. So far the babies weigh in at .25 ounces and .33 ounces. My CF test came back negative and I go for the quad test July 10th.

Avatar f tn A female want to stick with a 1200 calorie a day diet and a male to a 1500 calorie a day diet. There is an app for smart phones called my fitness pal that helps immensely with tracking calories. A little exercise helps as well and this app Will also track that for you. Eat balanced healthy meals. Cut processed foods out and sugars.
Avatar f tn calories in versus calories out. Joining a site like Spark People or My Fitness Pal can help you stay on track, identify good and bad patterns in your diet, log fitness, and find support with others who have similar goals. Have you ever considered hula hooping? It's a really fun way to get fit, and it burns 400-600 calories/hour.
Avatar n tn I also like the app, my fitness pal to motivate me. I wish you great success.
Avatar n tn I am setting my fitness pal goals to help keep track of my diet. Trying to figure out calorie/carb/fat/protein ratio. For someone pre-diabetic/possibly type 2. I am 5'4 195 lbs. I have it set for 1200 cal 25%carb 30%fat 45%protein. I have had blood sugar issues but haven't been sticking with the program. I have been feeling crappy lately so I started tracking sugars again and it's not so great. I plan to got to the Dr. next week to have my a1c1 checked. It's been a while.
Avatar f tn I eat a banana, apple and an orange a day. I track these on my fitness pal and usually I get all the vitamins I need. I drink almond milk for my calcium. Vitamins esp (ADEC) as well as calcium are better absorbed in a food state. Calcium citrate is more bioavailable then calcium bicarbonate. Checking the bioavailability for each vitamin supplement takes too much work for me so I just eat the foods directly.
Avatar f tn I gained 60 pounds with my first pregnancy and I don't want that to happen again. I'm tracking my calories on my fitness pal but I don't know what website is accurate as far as how many calories a day I should be eating. Any suggestions?

Avatar n tn get a really good 30-60 min cardio workout in at least 4x per week. Lower your stress level (if that's an issue) and make sure you get 8-9 hours of sleep each night. Increase fiber and protein and get rid of or lower sugar levels. Sugar is a big contributor to belly fat. If you eat healthy and stay consistant 6 days a week, your tummy will be one of the first places you notices weight loss.
Avatar f tn At the moment, I am roughly 145 cms tall and weigh roughly 45 kgs but will have to check that, I am 19 and female and would love to weigh between 35 kgs and 40 kgs, I am on My Fitness Pal but am really not sure if I am going about losing weight properly and I want to lose the weight safely and by October this year so was wondering if this is ok to do. What exercises should I do, I do a lot of walking and want to do this without getting obsessed about it.
5061022 tn?1363021823 I have recently removed myself from my fitness pal and tumblr because it is an ED breading ground! It is where I would go to get tips and encouragement. I am trying to get away from doing it as I have had it under control for the past year and it was recently triggered again in January. I have been dealing with it since the 8th grade and I am now a college junior....its a constant battle and I hate it....I am trying so hard right now to fight losing weight the right way....
Avatar f tn If you just want to keep track of your calories, try the app My Fitness Pal. It'll let you know if you need more protein, carbs or fats. Just feed that baby, but of course don't go nuts.
Avatar f tn I too only take a folate pill. No iron, but I track my diet. Spinach meat etc. I use my fitness pal to ***** the other major vitamins. Food is the best source for some nutrients as they are better absorbed. If you are anemic iron supplementation is crucial.
Avatar f tn I hit my maximum number easier when I'm exercising then when I'm trying not to eat. Does that make sense? Something like My Fitness Pal, an app, is really helpful. You can input your food and exercise and it helps tell you how much you are consuming each day. Stick to water to drink as calories consumed in beverage with no nutritional value are not worth it. I would then keep everything simple. eat something for breakfast-- hard boiled egg, peanut butter on a bread thin, etc.
Avatar f tn You can also download NOOM App for free or go to My Fitness Pal online and use thier calorie counters to track your food caloric intake vs. out put. The apps will tell you based on your hiedght, what your BMI is and how many calories you need to consume to stay at the weight your at or lose....in your case, you will take the calories for the weight you are at and increase caloric intake by 300-500 per day.....
Avatar n tn I have been on my fitness pal for about a year, doing cardio 70 minutes per day and weight lifting for 60 minutes five days per week. In one year I have only lost 16 pounds and I am at 150. With my height being 5'5", my normal is 130, however I am at 150 pounds. I need to know how to drop this excess 20 pounds and how many calories I should eat per day. I eat 1400 calories per day right now....I have been type one diabetic for 29 years now.......
