Avatar f tn but just wanted to get some thoughts on my issue- I have a grape sized hard but movable lump (it can be pushed around when I touch it and moves with my breast depending on position). I have dense lumpy breast tissue to begin with and a long family history of breast cancer ( though all the women were in their 60s and 70s and I'm in my 30s) genetic testing did not flag me as a BRCA carrier but I also did a general 23 and me test so it's not conclusive and does not test every BRCA gene.
Avatar f tn I'm a 24 year old female and I've been experiencing some discomfort in my left breast. I've always had lumpy breasts with mobile/movable lumps that sort of hurt when pressed. A few weeks ago I noticed a relatively larger lump on the left side of my left breast, it isn't fixed, and moves around a little, and hurts if pressed. It doesn't feel irregular in shape, and is not visible without feeling the breast.
Avatar m tn New to this community so here's the back story. I found a lump in my right breast when I was about 17. it's oddly shaped and kinda moves when I touch it. I'm on the smaller side. Im 20 yrs old and still only fit in a 32 A from the little girls section. so that gives an idea of how small I really am. being so small it was really easy to find the lump. I showed my mom and got it checked out. the doctor said it was only a fibroid.
974983 tn?1248161038 It is a reasonably solid lump and is behind my nipple (or maybe a bit higher) at the back of my breast., and it moves around when I touch it. I thought maybe because I just got a new bra this might have had something to do with it (believe it or not I have just been wearing a training bra! This is my first ‘real’ bra.) Or it could be a total coincidence. Please could you tell me what you think this might be? Thanks very much for you time. Tioni, age 16.
Avatar m tn Im 23 and I have a lump in my breast and its been there for over 3 years. Its been the same size but sometimes it seems like it shrinks.. It seems to be moveable and I only feel achy or dullness in the spot where the lump is or where it moves. Around when my period starts it seems to become worse but lessens when my period is over. The lump seems to have a ridge like texture I dont know can this be a cyst? Im scared to get it checked out (im a worry wart indeed) but i know i have too .
Avatar f tn Its just weird shooting pains from the base of the breast , where the scar tissue is, then up my arm/shoulder.. Got a tight bra now , so nothing moves as that makes it hurt more if it moves..its an odd one, Glad my friends and family persuaded me to go to the Dr, but now feel apprehensive, waiting for the appointment and am just thinking out loud ...thanks again .
Avatar n tn I am 18 years old and a few weeks ago I experienced some irritation to my breast (my fault, because my breasts tend to be very sensitive and I wasn't being careful). As a result, my whole breast hardened up and hurt, kind of like it does before my period (this was a few weeks ago). Eventually this went away, but I was left with a lump right under my nipple in the lower part of my areola. The lump was soft, it hurt to be touched, but was smooth and easily movable with the breast tissue.
Avatar n tn My sister passed away at age 46 from breast cancer and I also had breast cancer (14 years ago). My sister is 58 years old.
Avatar f tn I just had a baby 6months ago and barely stop breast feeding ill start taking them again. I have found a lil lump on my nipple it moves and doesnt feel to round. What wrong with me?? This all started when i squeeze my nipple and discharge came out ever since than my breast have been hurting. They never did before. Anything i can do?? Discharge doest come out now this was 2 years ago thanks.
722475 tn?1239131770 t really hurt more than normal, maybe some, but the lump, while it is still part of my breast area, extends down farther on my chest so that if I raise my arms I can see it. I've checked the other one out and found nothing too similar in that area, but I did also notice more lumps that are probably just cysts or a fibro-whatevers because I think my period is due sometime soon.
Avatar m tn Im 22 and I have a lump in my left breast. It moves and it seems like it shrinks @ times. It kind of aches from time to and time and aches more so when my period is about to start. Also my left leg has been stiff for the past couple of months does this have anything to do with my lump or is this a different issue such as anxiety...I keep going to the doctor about my leg and they take blood and said its nothing wrong and dont do anything about my leg..
Avatar f tn Hi. I am 16 years old and recently i noticed a lump in my right breast. is it a sign of cancer? I am scared to tell anyone...but is it normal to get lumps? The lump feels hard and is moveable and its about 2 cm wide. I am taking iron pills...would that be a cause? or is something else? I have no family history of breast cancer. So what is causing it? is there anything to be worried about? please help...
Avatar m tn I also do not have any breathing troubles and this Lump was noticed by me around 3 weeks back and it has grown just a little after i noticed it. This lump is mobile lump. It is not fixed to that place. When i press it, it moves a cm from its position and comes back to the original position when i release it. I have consulted a doctor and he told it is Fat accumulation (Lipoma) and it requires a surgery to remove it.
Avatar m tn It moves around and is usually pain less until it gets to just by my breast bone ( where its less fleshy), it is quite painful then. Do you think this is normal? is there anyone else who has to live with a cyst and the doctor will not get rid of it? can they turn into something more dangerous and should you be called within a certain time to have it checked again, or am i just worrying about nothing?
722475 tn?1239131770 Hello, I am 13 (14 in March) and a few weeks ago, I was sore on the bottom part of my left breast. I quit wearing a bra for a couple weeks thinking that was what it was and the pain did eventually go away. But now I just noticed that right around that area I found a lump. It is fairly large I guess and it doesn't really hurt more than normal, maybe some, but the lump, while it is still part of my breast area, extends down farther on my chest so that if I raise my arms I can see it.
Avatar f tn hi there i have also just found a lump under my left breast on my rib and i am about to see the doctor tomorrow i am very nervous as this lump moves around i have been told that it could be scar tissue from an old injury or it coud just be by gaining a little weight the fat just sits there i will let you know what my doc says.
Avatar f tn I am 38 years old, had my first child when I was 26, and began menstruating at age 13. I found a lump to the right of my left nipple about 3 months ago, and it was the size of a pea. I didn't want to over-react (I know better now to get lumps checked asap), so I just watched it. Last week, I found that it had grown considerably, so of course I called my doctor.
Avatar n tn I found a lump in my left breast last night and I have sen a nurse today who has advised I see a doctor ASAP. So im going to tomorrow. I wanted to know if it would make things worse if i keep touching the lump. I want to see if it moves or how hard it is. Im very concerned and it does feel hard. The nurse found it straight away when she examined me.
Avatar f tn About 18 days ago, I noticed a lump in the outer, I suppose, edge of my left breast. At the time, I would have gotten my period, but due to wishing to not have a period for the month because of a vacation, I continued to take my birth control pill. For the week of my "period", it was annoying. Just irritating and I knee it was there, but that could partially be mind over matter, but wearing a bra would drive me nuts.
Avatar f tn Anyone heard of fibronemona.. I'm pregnant and found a lump my dr said it feels like fibronemona but fibronemona also feels a lot like breast cancer.. Mine is about the size of a bb. I have to get a ultrasound on Monday and the doctor also said she felt a smaller lump in the same breast that feels similar.. Very worried I have breast cancer my lump doesn't feel like it moves its very round hard and painless..
Avatar f tn About a month ago I realized I had a lump in the tissue of my breast. It moves very easily and is oval like in shape. It never hurt before, but it now has started to hurt. I'm only 16 but I don't know if that makes a difference. Please help, thank you.
Avatar f tn I found that there is a similar bit of breast tissue in exactly the same place as I found my lump (just on the other breast - i suppose I was comparing). It is smaller, this now makes me think the smaller one is normal and my other breast has some enlarged tissue in it. Am I making sense or is this the ramblings of a paranoid nutter? Thank you.
Avatar n tn hiya im 21years of age and i have had a lump in my breast from iv been 15 i had an ultra sound and they said it was a fibroadoma its always been there but very small then i fell pregnant at 19 and when i had my baby i had noticed the lump had got bigger so my gp returned me back to the hospital and when i went i had an other ultrasound done it came back that the fibroadoma was near 5cm in size i refused to have it removed so they made me come back in 4months when i did go back it had decreased
Avatar m tn hello ANAYA1987, I had a small pea size lump on my breast before. I ignored it since it doesn't hurt. However, the longer I ignored it the bigger it grows. Luckily, my doctor said it was not that serious since it moves when I touch it. He suggested for it to be removed before it gets bigger or worse. I think you should have yours checked.
301354 tn?1211810520 t said anything, but for the last few weeks, I have felt a lump on the insde of my left breast. It continues to increasingly get larger. It is sometimes tender, but not always. Most of the time, it just feels like a constant throb like someone is repeatedly poking me with a needle. To touch it, is not tender.
