Sometimes the pain starts in my chest and seems to go to my back and at other times it starts in the back and goes to the front. Working makes the pain worse and lasts longer. I take 2 Aleve an it helps a lot. Any suggestions?

I am 30 years old, was diagnosed with IDC grade 2 stage 1 a year ago. I have a spot in my back that hurts every time it is touched, not when I move. The pain isn't bad. This has been going for about 3 weeks. I was sent for a chest x-ray, which came out looking normal. My question is whether xray is sensitive enough, or if I should ask for some other test to be done in order to eliminate BC as the cause for this pain?

I found that when I have the chest pains, if I put the pads of my tens on the area of back pain, the chest pains stop almost immediatly. I also have recently found an article which talks about the back pain(but not chest pain) and equates it to C spine nerve root damage, possiblly t spine degeneration and long thoracic muscle because of damage to the nerve roots in the C spine. . It is kind of arduos reading but is informative about a new theory.

Does anyone have any help for chest muscle pain? I have all the usual back and neck pain but now it's gone around the shoulders and chest. Git so bad I went to the ER. Of course they did a complete cardiac work up even though I said it was muscular. Ekg, echo, chest x Ray and CT scan (looking for embolism or clots) were all good, although I do have rhythm issues, so they sent me home with no relief.

I am having the back and chest pain symptoms that I have found here in the anxiety community. I know I am stressed. I take bupropian, sertraline and trazadone. Is it something I should see the doctor about or is it something that my therapist should be aware of for medicinal purposes? I guess it has been going on so long that I am not sure if I ever talked to her about it.

After getting blood work and a chest x-ray, the diagnosis was lung infection and muscle spasms in my back. When i cough, it hurts like crazy. I can't lie down, it hurts too much and I can not breathe. I hurts to breathe anyways, especially deep breaths. I am coughing up some blood too. I am taking muscle relaxants, tylenol 3, and a anti biotic to fight the infection. I am taking my pain killers every 3.5 to 4 hours cause the pain is so unbearable.

It only hurts when I lower my shoulders all the way. The pain is at the center of my chest and can go to my back at the center. I played basketball last Saturday and I was chest checking people so I'm guessing and hoping it's brusised I haven't had any other symptoms. Does this sound serious?

Wasn't sure where to post this. About two months ago I started lifting weights and exercising to get back into shape. I am 5'3" and 250lbs. I am not flabby, just heavy. I noticed after a month that my left shoulder was hurting. Now the muscles in my left arm are aching and tingling pretty much all the time. I don't have any other symptoms (shortness of breath, chest pain, dizziness etc.) My wife started massaging my shoulder and found a big knot that is very painful.

However I started getting this severe pain in my chest ( right side under my breast) about 5 days ago. I thought maybe that I pulled a muscle or something and that the pain would go away, but its not going away and my breathing seems to be more difficult and shorter. I cant lay on my right side at night as it shoots a sharp pain throughout my body. I just want to know what is going on. I was hoping someone could give me some advice or something and save me an expensive trip to the doctors!

I thought it felt good, so after about 3 weeks I went to play football again and the next day my chest was REALLY sore and the swelling and bulge were back up.Except this time my entire chest was sore, but it was an on again, off again kind of pain.Like 2 minutes on, 15 minutes off.I took the pills again and started to feel better again and decided to help my mother paint.It was a job that required I be on my hands and knees for the most part.

The muscle was attached to the first couple of ribs giving me the feeling of chest pain. They got the muscle to let loose and it was instant relieve! Since then when I start to get the pain in my chest I take a muscle relaxer prescribed by my doctor and the pain is gone pretty quick. Hello everyone, For the last 3 years I have had an intense, sharp, stabbing pain in my chest and back on my right side. I have also experienced, to a lesser extent, pain in my upper arm and neck. I also experience heavy fatigue once the pain sets in. This pain occurs on and off and appears to have no outside factors which attribute to it. I have checked with my GP and had an X-Ray performed but to no avail.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone here deals with lower back pain due to anxiety? Ive been feeling throbbing pains in the lower back on the right for a couple days on and off. Went to the hospital today, took a urine test and they said it looked fine, said it might have a bit of trace of blood in it so were gonna send it to the lab to check for any infections.

) if you have the pains again before the dr. calls you back, get to the ER asap! if you have a hospital with a chest pain center, go to that one! they are set up to monitor cases that puzzle them. good luck!

blood tests all clear but this was a couple months bak... Chest pain feels lyk stabbing pain whn I lie on my stomach & relax I dont feel it, dctr says its mussel strain & gave me pain killers which dont wrk... My pain comes on suddenly and lasts sometimes days. My cardiac tests have all come back negative. Cat scan of the chest negative as well. My doctor thought it may possibly be a muscle strain. He sent me to a physical therapist which did not help. My physical therapist does not seem to think its muscular and thinks I need to address further. I've been to pain management specialists and have had nerve conduction studies. Doctors, so far, do not seem to know what could be causing my pain.

They occur at the left chest area/Right chest area and most the time go down my left arm. Also in the last couple of weeks ive felt a pain in my lower right abdominal area. Ive gone to the caridologist and they said my heart is healthy. they took x-rays and it showed up as fine. My boyfriend has been complaining about a chest and back pain on his right side for about a week now. It came totally out of the blue.
