Avatar m tn my sister (24) was diagnosed Multiple Sclerosis in 2010, responded to steroid. now she suffered sudden & complete loss of vision in her left eye. she has been put on SOLUMEDROL. please suggest any available treatment modalities world over ? chances of return of vision ??
Avatar m tn One of them said it is all due to ur anxiety ( Cause i do not have any bladder problems and dizziness, numbness tingling all is due to anxiety) but one said its Multiple Sclerosis+ anxiety. My MRI and EEG were clear. Currently i have high frequency of muscle tingling through out my body only when i am lying on bed plus i see double vision of any statement especially ( white in colour) on TV and laptop. Is it MS? Should I start taking Med for MS or just let it be and hope it will go away?
Avatar n tn The various causes of blurred and double vision are cataracts, macular degeneration, damage to muscles and nerves in the eye which can be caused by thyroid problems, multiple sclerosis, strokes, high blood pressure, and diabetes. Diabetes can also cause these symptoms by diabetic retinopathy. Consult an ophthalmologist for eyes evaluation.
Avatar n tn You should get an MRI on your brain, my brother has Multiple Sclerosis and suffered from double vision and problems with the intestines. MS double vision is side by side, this a big red flag with MS.

Extreme fatigue, and etc. Out of the blue at my physical my Doctor after being told fo the umpteenth time about my double vision problem has referred me to a neurologist. I thought MS came at a younger age. My father had it so I am familiar with it. I just never heard of it starting at a later age.

My doctor says he thinks the viruses have attacked my nervous system and has prescribed physical therapy. He's done a brain mri and it shows normal, but I've been suffering for a long time with multiple problems. Does anyone think this EBV stuff could be ms???
