Avatar m tn One of them said it is all due to ur anxiety ( Cause i do not have any bladder problems and dizziness, numbness tingling all is due to anxiety) but one said its Multiple Sclerosis+ anxiety. My MRI and EEG were clear. Currently i have high frequency of muscle tingling through out my body only when i am lying on bed plus i see double vision of any statement especially ( white in colour) on TV and laptop. Is it MS? Should I start taking Med for MS or just let it be and hope it will go away?

There are other genetic/metabolic disorders, collectively known as the leukodystrophies, of which there are several types. In someone with white matter disease, evaluation for inflammatory or infectious causes is important as well. The course and the treatment really depend on what the exact cause is. Multiple sclerosis, vasculitis, and other disorders each have their own treatments.

Avatar f tn A resident Neurologist told me, that, as there were no positive Neuro results, and normal Neuro exam, that this was quite possibly caused by head trauma. My personal physician said Multiple Sclerosis is not possible, and feels it is Psychosomatic. I do have a history of mental illness. I was diagnosed with PTSD in 1992. I was severely ill, but, with treatment and hard work, I fought myself back. I have been stable and happy for several years.
