I have had a MRI, EEG and blood work to rule out lupus, RA, lyme disease and a sed rate that was high at 70. From what I know the MRI was only of the brain and I am not sure the strength of the MRI. Are muscle cramping and leg spasms especially in the calves a part of this. I also feel like I have the flu alot of times or that I am running a fever but don't. Like I said I have all the symptoms down to hearing loss and tinnitus.

My mother was diagnosed with polymyositis which caused her to become severely disabled. I have multiple sclerosis and my disabilty is similar to my mothers. i.e drunken gait in early stages. Is there a link please?

I recently posted a question re the possibility of having multiple sclerosis but someome has suggested that my symptoms could also be a result of vit d deficiency. Symptoms: numbness and tinling hands mostly every now and then toes, abnormal gait , vertigo and ear ringing. Any thoughts??

Moreover, a recent brain MRI has revealed nonenhancing ovoid T2 hyperintensities. She meets the diagnostic criteria for clinically definite relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis. The MRI scan, WHILE NOT SPECIFIC, also has an appearance compatible with multiple sclerosis. I do not think that any further neurological testing would be particularly helpful at this point. Hi I'm new here from the UK and suffer from Multiple sclerosis &Fibromyalgia & I have also have pain in hip which radiates from right thigh around the back which worsens with standing,eases a little with rest. My problem is with the Doctors who are obsessed with diagnosing everything on my current diseases, which I have to say is weeing me off to say the least.

One of them said it is all due to ur anxiety ( Cause i do not have any bladder problems and dizziness, numbness tingling all is due to anxiety) but one said its Multiple Sclerosis+ anxiety. My MRI and EEG were clear. Currently i have high frequency of muscle tingling through out my body only when i am lying on bed plus i see double vision of any statement especially ( white in colour) on TV and laptop. Is it MS? Should I start taking Med for MS or just let it be and hope it will go away?

It has multiple symptoms and signs and is a diagnosis of exclusion. The symptoms of multiple sclerosis are loss of balance, muscle spasms, numbness in any area, problems with walking and coordination, tremors in one or more arms and legs.
