Avatar m tn One of them said it is all due to ur anxiety ( Cause i do not have any bladder problems and dizziness, numbness tingling all is due to anxiety) but one said its Multiple Sclerosis+ anxiety. My MRI and EEG were clear. Currently i have high frequency of muscle tingling through out my body only when i am lying on bed plus i see double vision of any statement especially ( white in colour) on TV and laptop. Is it MS? Should I start taking Med for MS or just let it be and hope it will go away?
Avatar f tn The downside was that during it I had terrible headaches and neck pain. But the problem... the weakness and muscle spasms are mostly gone. Now after the last IVIG infusion on Monday... 3 days ago... I have developed severe pain in my lower back. It has me crouched over and barely walking. I have to use my shower chair and walker because of it. Will this just go away? I have put in a call to the MS Center and I should know something soon, I hope.
1517572 tn?1290796418 Seeing a neurologist for a complete evaluation should be in your very near future. Chest pain as you described does not normally go with MS, nor does pneumonia. Chest pain from the infamous MS hug is a different type of discomfort from what you write here. Contrary to common thinking, even though MS is thought to be an autoimmune disease, our systems are overactive when it comes to germs and viruses. MS patients can be a pretty healthy bunch - as ironic as that may sound.
Avatar f tn t anything was wrong with me but wanted to monitor me for multiple sclerosis by me keeping a diary and come back in 8 weeks. Also she gave me a couple blood tests for b12 and thyroid which came back normal. The latest symptom I've been feeling is a mild leg throbbing in my right leg along with the continuous neck burning sensation and on and off tingling in my arms. The sores on my tongue are healed and only occasionally will feel a little ache on left side of my face. Any advice?
Avatar n tn Zig zag line with eye movement on both eyes for the past 2 weeks. All pains can be burning. I also get tingling, pins and needles and electric shocks. EMG, EEG, bloodwork, eye exams all normal. I feel a bit off balance. When I walk, at times, I feel a heavy pressure on my head, neck and shoulders and my legs feel heavy and I get pins and needles. Symptoms are worse when I'm tired or hungry. I also get nerve tics. Neuro #1 thinks I have migranes with no headaches.
Avatar f tn Since these symptoms are present in multiple locations, this needs multiple sclerosis workups. Other conditions are diabetes, peripheral artery disease, peripheral neuropathy or head injury. Consult a neurologist for investigation of these symptoms. Multiple sclerosis has multiple symptoms and signs and is a diagnosis of exclusion.
Avatar f tn I have every symptom of multiple sclerosis and have been told by several doctors I might have it. I went to a MS specialist recently and he said, after a physical examination, he didn't think I had MS but would run the VEP and Spinal Tap just to make sure (MRI of the brain and lumbar were clear). What else can be causing the same symptoms of MS? I can barely walk, after six months of going from doctor to doctor, with no diagnosis and no treatment.
Avatar n tn Weakness in shoulders neck, pain, decreased ROM. at first thought it was the oromandibular dystonia itself however the correct meds/ botox injections have been found to control the movements. PT has not helped with the weakness. I wear a TENS unit, am unable to exercise in the manner I used to, 3 lb weights are too much towards the end of a work out. Standard push ups are not possible any mroe. Cannot turn head and place chin on shoulder any longer.

Avatar n tn I have had RR multiple sclerosis since I was 10 ish diagnosed (finally) in 2008. Had routine MRi of head and neck last month, everything is stable for 2 years now. Thank you Tysabri! My question is the impression of my mri stated T1 and T2 disease burden is at least moderate ( written for head and cervical MRI). Also JCV negative this whole time can I stay on Tysabri indefintely as long as I am negative?
Avatar n tn I'm only 18, male, but I think I may have Multiple Sclerosis. I don't usually jump to conclusions but I don't know how else to explain this. My symptoms include: Depression Panic/anxiety attacks Muscle spasms Weird episodes where I jerk and twitch and I feel like I can't control my body even though I can? (New) I have recently started having a sudden numbness, like "falling asleep", or "pins and needles" in my feet.

Avatar m tn I'm recently dx, April 2011. I've suffered on and off in the passed with neck pain, it hurts just to hold my head up. Does anyone else suffer from this? Is this even a symptom of ms? I feel like things I ignored in the past may have been symptoms that I didn't realize.
8107477 tn?1396557641 The quibble if my pain is MS or Cancer but they treat the pain. I see my MS Specialist once a year he does an exam and then I go on my merry way. I thought I would be diagnosed with MS and then a team of specialist would jump on fixing it. I have seen too much house. Even Oncologists are not very exciting in treating you. I thought mortality gave street cred. No they are even caught in their systems. Care for yourself and have a good PCP to run most things by.
Avatar n tn Hello. I am a 18 year old white male who has had a year of very strong anxiety/hypochondria so take this in account before answering my question please. Due to a surgery this year i was forced to stay home from school during the entire school year, so i was basically sitting in front of the computer for 15-16 hours a day in an office chair in same position over and over again. I have a severe anxiety of having MS.
