I Was Told That It Was Totally Optional And My Insurance Company Required That I See A Genetic Counselor Before Hand Because Of The Risk Of Miscarriage. Im Sure People Who Have Had Multiple Miscarriages Or Other ChildrenWho Were Born With Certain Conditions Than It Would Be A Recommended Option But If You Don't Fall.Into Those Categories Idk Why You Would Need It.
