I was diagnoised with E/P positive invasive breast cancer. Lymphnodes clear and had five weeks of radiation treatment. Tried Tomxifene but made me ill. Dr, recommended Raloxifene. does Raloxifene prevent the recurrance of my type of breast cancer? Marian

Bilateral swelling of lymph nodes under jaw. Both lymph nodes are identical size (3/4-1") and location. Noticed 5 days post exposure when I read about ARS and started checking for them not because they hurt. Also noticed white tongue about 10 days post-exposure when I read about it and checked. Not sure if it was present before. Both symptoms still persist 60 days post exposure.
I had three losses.at different stages for different reasons. It didn't get easier for me either. I now have two wonderful children (and 5 weeks pregnant now). Later, when you do have your children the pain will be a faint memory. Just keep visualizing positive outcomes!! Don't let the losses take away the picture of you having a baby!!
I am supposed to start Raloxifene. This may cause hot flashes. If severe enough, dr will rx Effexor to treat flashes. I have been reading such negative information about the side effects of Effexor, and even worse, the are withdrawal symptoms if you have to get off of it. Is there anyone reading this that actually had to take effexor along with Raloxifene? If so, could you tell me please if you had a good, or bad experience? Thank you for any input.

This summer I had a few casual sexual encounters with different men. These encounters began in June and by the middle of August I had wised up. All of the encounters were protected anally and unprotected oral (only one instance of ejaculation in the mouth.) Around 5-6 weeks after the last encounter I began to develop a few ARS like symptoms including swollen occipital nodes on both sides, posterior cervical nodes on both sides (both no bigger than a cm), and swollen nodes under the jaw.
Aside from radiation, you can ask your doctor about other breast cancer risk reduction strategies such as that of hormonal treatment with tamoxifen or raloxifene. Other breast conditions that may increase the risk of invasive cancer would include DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ).

The teacher does conners reports because the school psyc (or possibly a private psyc) gave them to the teacher. They usually are a multiple choice or ranked scale format. The teacher gives her opinion of the questions. The psyc scores them. The test is set up so that some one can't really use it to get a particular outcome.
I don't quite understand your question Sarah. Did he get diagnosed with ADHD and is special ed. and you want out? Or was he not diagnosed?
Use of Raloxifene is intended to decrease the risk of osteoporosis and to decrease the risk of invasise breast cancer or to prevent invasive breast cancer from retuning in women who have had invasive BC.
If you have questions or concerns about using it, it would be best to discuss them with the physician who prescribed it.

I am not sure which medication your mother is taking, but Evista (raloxifene) can cause muscle cramps of the legs. Please have your mother make an appointment with her physician.

Regular injections of the allergen are usually given (with each dose slightly larger than the previous dose) until a maximum dose is reached. However, these do not work for everybody and require frequent follow-up to your attending physician. Indeed, they may require years of treatment, but they work in most cases.
Other forms of treatment post-operatively would include additional radiation therapy, or hormonal treatment with Tamoxifen or Raloxifene. All of these additional treatments are aimed to lessen the chance of recurrence as well as prevent the future development of frankly invasive cancers.
