discharge

538174 tn?1234725096 As long as there is no pain or itchiness involved, it is reasonably safe to assume that what you are experiencing is just increased cervical mucus that many women produce during pregnancy. Your body has to create a mucus plug to seal the uterus once a pregnancy has been established. Increased cervical mucus is something that can be experienced during any trimester, or in many cases, all of them. Most women complain of an increase again however, during the last month (or so) of their pregnancy.

Avatar n tn I had spottings during my pregnancy at least 2-3 times, called they said it s ok, they couldn't explain why it happens but if it is not bleeding than it is ok.
1877703 tn?1320524116 Throughout pregnancy, a mucus plug blocks the opening of the cervix to prevent bacteria from entering the uterus.you might have had a mucus build up but that does not explain your sore boobs. I just recently found out i was prego.
Avatar f tn You can experience an excessive amount of discharge during ovulation when your cervix produces an ‘eggy’ white consistency and color mucus which will help conception. In the other word, this mucus is a sign that you are most fertile.During this time, estrogen hormone level in the body is high, which causes the vagina to secrete more discharge than usual.
Avatar f tn Whats the difference between discharge and my mucus plug as ive been having large amounts of yellow/greenish lumps of discharge on my tissue and i have to wipe about 6 times to get it all. Is this just discharge or my mucus plug.
7559418 tn?1393386476 Health class is nothing compared to being pregnant! LOL I didn't realize how much vaginal discharge you can have during the pregnancy. Panty liners become your best friend. In my second trimester my boobs always leaked and that never stopped.
2515342 tn?1347080637 It might just be the lighting in the room but It does look more yellowish. Doctor tested me during this pregnancy and last pregnancy pretty observingly because i would get lots of yeast infections during my last pregnancy and I'm considered high risk. But besides color I'm not experiencing anything with it, no itching, no smells, no nothhing. I know it's common to have a lot of discharge during pregnancy just wondering if it could be a sign I'm loosing mucus plug??
Avatar f tn I believe I read that during the first trimester and third trimester, milky discharge is common. Third trimester, your body is preparing for birth so that's the reason for the discharge. My dr sofas as lon as it doesn't inch or have a foul odor, you are fine.
Avatar f tn It could be yur mucus plug so I would say early signs of labor...just make sure yu keep track of contractions...after mucus plug comes out it could be hours, days before active labor starts so keep that in mind.
Avatar n tn It's totally normal to have discharge. Especially during the first trimester. It'll get better during the second trimester then worse again during the third. And ever since I've been pregnant I've been peeing constantly. Lol.
Avatar f tn I didnt really think much of it until around ovulation time in August I started getting some cramps, and alot of mucus and creamy discharge the rest of the month which never happens to me, I have a wicked dry cycle.
Avatar f tn t know the exact details but our bodies form a mucous plug at the cervix during pregnancy and I just assumed the tons of discharge was that getting built up. My doc said as long as there's no blood, it's fine. As for the cramping, it could be round ligament pain - I'm noticing it a lot this time and it feels a bit like a muscle pull but doesn't last long.
Avatar f tn Am 30 +3 weeks and I have been noticing that I have more discharge and a little bit thicker than before but nothing am worried about coz I read somewhere saying its normal to have a little bit more and thicker discharge in the third trimester. But if its something you wld consider unusual you shd talk yo your doctor about it. And as another one posted each pregnancy is different. I had health issues with my earlier pregnancies than I have now with my current one.
Avatar f tn Iv never seen that much discharge my hole pregnancy also the way it look was like white jelly in my vagina. Could this mean my mucus plug is braking. Or early labor. I also just had a nose bleed.
Avatar f tn t remember this happening with my last pregnancy. But I know we all have discharge while preggers but here like every few days ill wake up and go pee and find some of discharge is light brown but still white ya know?  Is it bc im in my thrid trimester that I can lose a little bit og my mucus plug at a time? Im not worried or anything just curious?.
Avatar f tn This is completely natural during pregnancy and you will have it heavier during first and last trimester, a lot of women just use a panty liner (I did) just to feel a bit cleaner and saves changing your underwear all the time. Clear/white with no smell is fine but any discolour like yellow/orange or green and any bad smell is when you should go to your doctor.
Avatar f tn t remember having energy in my 2nd pregnancy, or this one...but I DID have it briefly during my first pregnancy in the 3rd trimester...I started getting antsy at about 35 weeks and didn't sit still or stop walking and swimming until I delivered at 40wks, lol. It just depends on your body, but HOPEFULLY you'll get a break in the 2nd tri..I never have, but I have some friends who did :-).
Avatar n tn Usually brown discharge is old blood. Some women do get spotting of red blood during their pregnancy, which does not always indicate a miscarriage. Miscarriages are commonly accompanied with cramping, in addition to spotting or bleeding. In either case you should always contact your O.B. to get checked out. Your O.B. may want to check your hormone levels throughout your first trimester, depending upon your medical history and age. Congratulations on your beautiful blessing!
Avatar n tn You can get mucusy discharge as early as your second trimester but what you're really waiting for is the bloody show. Mucus with brown or a tint on blood inside. I'm 37+2 and get discharge but still no bloody show.
Avatar n tn My question is what are the possible effects of general anesthesia in the second trimester of pregnancy. She had her wisdom teeth pulled but at this point did not know she was pregnant. She also remained on birth control for a few months after conception. Just curious so I know how to support her best. Thanks, S.
