Avatar f tn thinks it has been going on for a while). I have been freaking out about MS..he said that a person with MS would have a normal EMG and he doesn't think MS is my case. The last week or so I have freezing ankles and feet (all the time). He says circulation is fine. My feet feel swollen, but aren't??? Any suggestions?? Thanks for any help you can offer!!
Avatar n tn Just curious if this sounds like MS or something else. No real other symptoms other than hands and feet tingle and also the brain fog almost pressure feeling. 40 year old male. I appreciate everyone taking time to read and reply. Have a nice week all.
Avatar f tn Mechanical spine issues can be very hard to differentiate from MS issues. The symptoms can be the same. Are you looking into remedies for your mechanical issues?
Avatar f tn my first symptoms were stroke like symptoms. I could not walk the next day. it was hard to lift my legs.
Avatar f tn I had similar symptoms aswell anxiety plays a massive part in most of the reason why you're getting these symptoms but I got a blood test a couple weeks ago and it's come back that I have been low on vitamin d have u had a full blood count ?
Avatar n tn Hi Everyone. I guess I'm wondering what my level of worry should be at this point. The main symptom I'm concerned about is when I sit at my desk at work and often when I'm walking or jogging, I'll get a tingling, numbness sensation in the tips of my feet. The area is from the ball of both feet into all toes. It comes and goes for approx 1 month now. My problem is I have suffered health anxiety in the past for many years for which I took Aropax (Ant-depressant) for.
Avatar n tn Hello there, Welcome to the forum. We have some terrific people on here who can offer a wealth of knowledge about this disease. Your symptoms are things that can happen with MS, but they can be caused by other things as well. It's hard to classify MS symptoms sometimes, because it affects everyone differently. Congratulations on your pregnancy, and I know that must make this that much scarier. Just a few questions ... Have you talked to your doctor about your concerns?
1442701 tn?1286383987 It is harder walking at the end of each day. Today wasn't a good one. The buzzing sensation started when walking this morning & I had to ask someone else to take workers around to show service locations! I was so embarrassed & then one lady had the nerve to ask me if I would qualify for disability! Sheeps wool!!! I was so aggravated! My first MRI showed lesions in the gray matter in 2005. The person reading it said it indicated MS to them. Went to neuro & he said migraines.
Avatar f tn Hi and welcome, MS doesn't generally cause any symptom to be symmetrical, or experienced in all peripherals (both hands and feet) and if you are experiencing hot, red hands and feet with or without actual swelling, whilst it's 'less likely' to be related to a neurological condition like MS......it's not normally something someone of your age would be experiencing.
Avatar f tn In limbo as well, and I have the same issue, however it's my right side (weak side). My right hand only, and occasionally same side leg and foot. It's very strange. We have one of those handy dandy "no touch" thermometers for our littles -- there can be a 4-5 degree C. difference between my two hands. Just a heads up: even if the MRI comes back saying only ms, you've met the McDonald Criteria, etc. -- it still might be a long haul as your ms specialist has to agree.
Avatar f tn Also, I have been told that MS is not hereditary but I had an aunt with MS. Has anyone else had someone else in their family with MS? My neurologist is planning on referring me to a university hospital to see a specialist. Just wondering what everyone's presenting symptoms were? Thanks for allowing me to join. And, thanks for any help.
Avatar f tn Your neurologist may have thought that the disease is not very well pronounced . It is a fact that most patients with MS do not get all the symptoms and an MRI also doesn’t show specific findings in the early stage . Please go for a second opinion because your symptoms haven’t subsided . Hope this helps you . Take care and regards !
Avatar f tn I am 38 years old and have a tingling sensation in my feet for about six years. Recently I had an episode of double vision whilst driving that was preceded by a quick "snap" sensation in my head. It was the most bizarre experience and rectified itself within minutes. I have also recently had days where my left eye lower lid feels like it is puffy and dragging down but looks fine to look at.
Avatar f tn I still have muscle tremors, achiness, tingling and some fatigue although much milder. Can anyone shed some light on my symptoms...I was convinced I had ms ( also had a great aunt with ms) but with my MRI's normal I am not sure now.
Avatar f tn I was diagnosed with MS a few months ago. My neurologist thinks I have had it for several years and have just treated the symptoms individually. I have developed a new problem at I wondered if anyone else has.... I have been getting itchy bumps on my feet. They are similar to blisters but some seem to come to the surface of the skin while some remain below the surface. THEY ITCH LIKE CRAZY! Sometimes I can't sleep due to the itching.
Avatar f tn Hi bt- i'm having some issues with my feet as well. My feet can feel like I have really bad Athletes Foot; a strong burning sensation under my toes. They can also feel like someone has just droppes a bowling ball on them. Sometimes its both :-) My doc and I are abut to start investigating remedies.
Avatar f tn Hi MsErika, I too am sorry you are having so many problems and seemingly no help. I know it's the last thing you are going to want to hear, but I can see where you may have to start again fresh w/another Dr. Or, at least revisit the old one for a recap. Maybe a general MD. Share your frustration with the Dr. about your top few problems. With all these symptoms it's going to be hard for the Dr. to zero in on one area.
Avatar f tn Look at Issacs disease I have that and its a copy of some MS symptoms. Ive set up a facebook with links. Look if you fancy, it is named Issacs disease.
5509293 tn?1428531475 I haven't had any problems with any kind of symptoms since June. Now, with air conditioning off, after my son's soccer game where I was sitting out in 80 + temps, both of my feet started to burn then, and have continued since then. I am totally in limboland, waiting for a second brain mri after first showed four "white spots" and I just don't know what to think.
Avatar m tn No so MS causes dwellings in feet ankles and legs in MS patients. Vascular system is compromised. Also inactivity in this disease is horrible.
867787 tn?1318936230 I have been keeping a timeline to give to my doctor, & have noticed some of my symptoms stick around all of the time while some don't. The awful fatigue stays all the time(sometimes slightly improves but is always present),these crazy muscle twitches are always here, & my right side seems to stay weak. I have also noticed that the spasms come & go as well as the headaches & eye pain. Some days my brain seems foggier than others.
Avatar f tn I just finished my 3rd day of infusions and will start the Prednisone later this morning. Many of my MS-like symptoms have reduced substantially. However, my leg joints and feet joints/heals are very achey and feel heavy/swollen, especially in my feet/ankles and sometimes I get a stabbing feeling through the bottom of my feet upward. Its worse when I walk or stand. My lower back also gets achey at times.
