Avatar f tn I would think my neurologist would have seen inflammation in my brain with my CT scan with contrast. She has ruled out Hemmorrhage masses and hydrocephalus. Along with Lime Disease.
Avatar f tn i had an mri scan and was told i had a right A1 segment hypoplastic. what does this mean please?
Avatar n tn So I went to the emergency room with this severe pain in my side. They did an MRI ā€“ thinking it was my gallbladder and discovered that one of my kidneys (on the left side) when the pain was on the right was under-developed and decided that I needed to see a kidney specialist ā€“ who said that I was born with one kidney and sent me to a gynecologist who said every thing looked normal and said that I needed to go back to my family doctor. Iā€™m tired of being jerked around and need some help.
Avatar f tn I am in the similar situation but my pediatrician is sending my 9 month old daughter to a neurologist this Wednesday for a MRI scan...they will be peacefully asleep under the mild sedation and not know anything. My pediatrician's reasoning is this...the sooner the diagnosis is made, the better the prognosis due to the specialized therapy that will be given.

1661682 tn?1313135396 but my boyfriends sister had a 4D scan and she loved it and i really want one done. does anyone know how much i would cost or how to make an appoinment for 1.
Avatar n tn I'm not sure where you are located, but in the US you have a right to the study and the results for your own records. There is really no suck thing as a non-specific lesion if you are having neurologic symptoms. At the very least, the doctor is expected to provide symptomatic treatment and hopefully relief while attempting to diagnose the root cause of the illness.
284738 tn?1283106819 I checked on Yahoo answers and alot of women do poop more at this stage in their pregnancy. Someone said stool softner was in their prenatal vitamin and someone said there is pressure on the colon during pregnancy to make more poop come out. Type in your question and check out the Yahoo answers.
Avatar f tn ) I have a thorasic??? mri on Monday...Does anyone know what this is for? I probably should've asked..but was a little nervous. She said that she is not convinced either way about MS. Her advice to me was that though I am frustrated that I do not have a diagnosis, I should be careful what I wish for...I may not like it. And I do agree, and obviously do not want there to be anything seriously wrong with me, I want the pain, numbness and fatigue to go away! Thanks for letting me vent!
Avatar f tn I went to dr and they did many test, xray of lumbar-suggested mri. Had mri - bilaterial pars defect, ann. radial tears l/3,l4,l5,s1- moderate. Did physical therapy- no help saw neurosurgeon - he said problems were from fracture(bilaterial pars defect) needed surgery.Cant have anthesia so got second opinion-he said I was basicly faking but ordered a ct scan and put in his report that with surgery there was a high failure rate of good functional outcome.
Avatar f tn Noticable gait change at 12 with feet starting to pronate. Clonus of 3 beats also noted. Referred for MRI of the spine and evalution for tethered cord. MRI revealed no tethered cord and Physiatrist diagnosed Familial Spastic Parapareses even though there is no family histroy and all 3 gene tests was negative. Not convinced at that diagnosis, saw a neurologist a couple of years ago who did brain MRI with contrast, EEG and CK blood test.
Avatar m tn If you have had a gallbladder removal or exploratory surgery if you could read over this, it would help me so much! (I know it is long, but I'm pretty nervous about this) I am doing the exploratory surgery next friday with possible gallbladder removal. I am a 27 yr old male. Here is my post from yahoo answers: I've been having fairly constant aches in my upper abdomen for about 7 months now. Sometimes I get nauseous, but not usually.
