9 then had ultrasound and transvaginal scan which showed up a lump between my womb and bladder,i have also lost over a stone in weight since xmas.gotto wait for mri,but consultant said he was not concerned about my weight loss or blood test.what could it be.

HI i went for a ultra scan on my womb thinking i was going through the change,but they found a shadow in my right kidney,sent me for a ct scan it was inconclusive but know calling it a tumour.Is it cancer? Know i have to go for a mri scan and another ultra scan,im worried as my mum had renal failure and cancer in her kidneys,plus her mum died when my mum was 4 of kidney problems,why do results take so long when you waiting and worried.I havnt lost weight,not over tired no blood in urine.

So had an internal ultrasound scan today and they found absolutley nothing in my womb! Ziltch! Suppose to be 6 weeks 4 days and got positive last week so I think some things telling me fibs! Took my bloods and gotta ring tmrw to see if they show hgc levels if they do gotta go back for second round but nurse said might come back negative!

She went to the doctor and the doctor who did a scan of the womb first of all said there is a thickening of the linking of the womb but that he doesn't think it's cancer (he showed her all the scan pictures too), but he has referred her for a D and C (she has to have a general). She is very over weight. Bit worried that he didn't think it was cancer yet has referred her for more tests. If he thought it wasn't then why would he refer her for more tests? Any ideas?

Hi, thanks for replying. I have seen my doctor and could definately feel it and was quite bemused by it and hasn't come across anything like it before. He said it most probably a blood vessel and to keep an eye on it.He did surgest I have a scan but then said I've had alot of tests recently and to wait till I receive my MRI results for my low back pain before any more is done but to keep an eye on it.

Went for my first scan the other day and eas told I have a tilted womb which made it difficult to get clear photos has anyone else got this and has it caused any problems in your pregnancy??

I have an MRI at the end of this month as I have weak legs and a balance problem.I have also to get heart monitor fitted to find out how my heart behaves for 24hrs. The ring I had must have been the wrong size as it fell out I seem to have everything wrong with me at the moment. Best wishes.

I am having a girl!! Was convinced it was a boy as carrying baby all at the front. Baby was aslepp during scan so not much going on but great to see her. Getting flutters now to, n ot as man this week as previously. Placenta at bottom of womb so due back at 34 weeks to see if it's moved. Test result came back as very low risk despite my age, (37) so not being offered amnio 1/3379. Getting bigger now, cannot fit into trousers that ere previously too big...

At my 8 week scan i had a student and she put the wand straight on baby and never looked at the rest of my womb so its possible she missed one.

I was admitted to hospital with stomach pains but it took 4days of waiting before I got a scan the scan showed signs of burst cysts but it hasnt been confirmed.

ve had 2 miscarriages in august and Dec 2012 after 3 years of ttc. My doc has me booked in for an internal scan next Friday nd Im very worried. Is it safe to have this done?? I spoke to my friends who are mothers and they said not to have it done.....any advice?????

At 3-4 the canal Diameter is11-12mm w/small amount of CSF around the cord. At 4-5AP diameter of 9mm and mild flattening of the cord. At 5-6 canal is only 10 mm with only a trace of CSF anterior to the cord and none to the posterior. At 6-7thereis mild central narrowing of the canal and Diameter is 11 mm. I get a crunchy type sound when I move my head/neck in any direction. I was having unbearable headaches until prescribed2.5mg Valium twice daily.

Is it necessary to have more than one MRI scan done. I have only ever had the one scan, 15 yrs ago which was when I was given my official dx, despite having several episodes/relapses since. Initially told I had RRMS now being told I have SPMS with relapses.

This headache could be due to raised intracranial pressure and lowering of temporal lobes on MRI due to brain herniation, which is a consequence of very high intracranial pressure. Herniation could result from many factors causing mass effect and increase intracranial pressure including traumatic brain injury, stroke and brain tumor. You need to consult a neurologist immediately with this concern, as this can be fatal. Hope this helps. Take care.
