Avatar f tn Last June I began to experience a feeling of numbness in my left jaw. After a couple of days, my entire left side of my head felt numb. ( not tingly). I was beginning to feel some numbness in my left hand and leg below my knee, including my foot. My leg and foot now feel numb and stiff. I am beginning to feel the stiffness in my hand and shoulder. It is all on the left side. I have had all of the tests. Everything has come back positive. My nuerologist doesn't know what's wrong.
Avatar m tn For the past year or more I have had weakness and numbness down my left side, particularly my left eye, cheek, hand, leg and foot. I find these symptoms most problematic when walking as I am worried about losing balanceor falling although this has never happened. I spoke to my GP and he referred me to a neurologist. I had an MRI scan and was told that it showed 'nothing serious'. But the problem has never been resolved and I am very anxious to find out what the cause may be.
Avatar n tn On feb. 17th my left foot started to swell and has been since. I've had a sonogram of the main artery in that leg and pelvic area looking for any kind of obstruction. I've had a regular foot x-ray and a weight bearing x-ray along with a MRI and a bone scan. Everything came back negative. Ive been to 3 regular doctors and 2 podiatrist along wih 1 sports medicine clinic trying to find an answer.
Avatar m tn I can lie on my left side as long as I have a pillow between my legs, and even then I need to move my legs every few seconds/minutes (depending on the severity of the pain). I have had CT scan of back, MRI of back, xrays of hip, knee, foot, ultrasound of groin.. all came back normal. This started when I was masturbating and felt a dull pain in my right groin.
Avatar f tn Hi---I am a registered nurse and have recently been experiencing very sharp pain in my left foot....the top left side. I went to an orthopedist that specializes in feet and an mri was done and it showed nothing abnormal. This is the most painful condition that I have ever had. I am on my feet for twelve hour shifts and sometimes the pain keeps me awake at night. The next morning I wake up and my foot feels swollen and I have trouble walking.
Avatar n tn Hello, I have been reading the various emails submitted by folks with cuboid stess fracture and I certainly do appreciate the sharing of stories. I have been in pain of the left foot for about a month now, but do not remember when I "hurt" it. I finally went to the foot doctor today (7/8/09) and the doctor took Xrays and found nothing. But, he did locate the "pain" and said it may be a cuboid stress fracture.
Avatar n tn result normal. MRI of the head: result normal. No trace of stroke or TIA. EMG: result normal. MRI of spine: result normal. No pinched nerve either. My right foot, right buttock, right hand all feel all right. Other than high blood pressure, I'm basically healthy. What could have caused this condition? Is there any test that can tell what's causing this? Is there any medication or treatment that can relieve this condition?

Avatar m tn I recently was tested for MS and found out that I have spinal stenosis of the cervical spine. For the past three years I felt like my body was falling apart. I would have weird burning feelings on my thighs and the top of my left foot. Now my left leg feels cold, the doctor said this can't be from the c spine and ordered a lumbar MRI. That came back normal. So again I am trying to figure out what is going on.
Avatar f tn Went to the hospital and ran tests on me because my left leg, left foot, left arm, left hand, left chin, left lips, and left tongue is numb. All the left side of my body is numb. They ran CT scan and took blood. Couldn’t find anything.
Avatar m tn Did they do the MRI of your brain or brain and spine? Did they use contrast dye? A CT scan is practically useless for seeing MS lesions so I wouldn't take an unremarkable scan as meaning anything. Your symptoms can be MS, but it can also be so many other things. Are you in the care of a neurologist? First off, it sounds like you need a new MRI to see if there have been any changes. There is also all the other testing that is done in working up an MS possiblility.

Left kidney is significantly smaller than the right. We see a pediatric urologist on April 1 and have been referred to a pediatric muscular neurologist in St Louis on April 16th. All blood work has came back fine as did MRI.

Everything else was fine. **Liver appears normal in size and contour. Avatar m tn I have been suffering from lower back pain (more so on left side) for over 2 years and frequent urination (frequent during daytime and once at night time for 3+ years) as well as tingling sensations in my left leg and pain on the sole of my foot on my left leg for the past 2 years. As you can read, it is mostly centered on my left side. 2 years ago I went for an MRI scan on my back due to the lower back pain and it yielded nothing.
470162 tn?1285751713 He made me walk the plank heel to toe ( I fell over ) tested my reflexes, not good in my left foot. Checked my eyes, touch your nose touch my hand with your finger, follow the pen with your eyes, standard stuff. Didn't have trouble there.
Avatar n tn I recently had an MRI of my spine and brain due to numbness on the right side of my face and left foot. The hospital called me to come back and have another MRI with contrast done. When I went in they said they wanted to look closer at my ears...... Immediately after they did the MRI with contrast they sent me for a CT scan of the temporal bones.... Could there possibly be a link between my ears and having autonomic dysfunction???? Does anyone else have problems with their ears??
