For that i once again consulted with the other neurophysician in bangalore. He advised me for doing the MRI Scan. The result of the MRI saying "Mild ectopia of cerebellar tonsils. The tips of the tonsil is 5mm below the formen magnum. No mass effect is seen on the Brain stem. Mild chiari-I malformation". After seeing the report by neurophysician and neuorosurgeon, doctor advise me to take stugeron-25mg tablet. He told me that it won't effect you.

mean while we consulted Dr.Bharat K Kadadhi of Bangalore hand centre hospital, advised for MRI scan,it shows 2 nerves are stretched and 2 are ruptured and advised for surgery as early as possible as there is much scope to improvement. what is the treatement advised to your baby by Dr. Taranath Shetty?Dr.Bharat advised surgery for my baby with in a week time.i want to know surgery is the only option available? if possible give me your contact number.

Is it necessary to have more than one MRI scan done. I have only ever had the one scan, 15 yrs ago which was when I was given my official dx, despite having several episodes/relapses since. Initially told I had RRMS now being told I have SPMS with relapses.

After that I was unable to flex my right knee due to pain but I could manage to walk. Upon x ray and MRI scan it was diagnosed as avulsion fracture of posterior cruciate ligament and the fraction bed was 0.1mm. I was applied with POP bandage over the right leg (no surgery done) and advised bed rest. After the treatment period stepping up and down on stair case was difficult for me and slowly felt crepitating noise from the same knee.

One more thought about the cost - did they give you a price for the MRI test? See if you can get that negotiated rate like they do with the big insurance companies. I'm with Anthem and it seems to me they only pay about 20-25% of the rate that is billed for my MRI's. It would be great if you could get this worked out too.
