Common Questions and Answers about Mouth infection hydrogen peroxide

infection

Avatar f tn I called my doc and she told me to watch it for a few days because she has no idea what it is. I put some deluted hydrogen peroxide on a q-tip and put the q-tip on the sore. There was another inflamation at first of more of the pus-looking stuff. Then that went away, and there's now a hole and the other sore. I'm not a smoker and I don't drink. I am 16 years old and I have some neuro and GI problems, and I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome).
Avatar m tn I can't find a mouth wash with hydrogen peroxide in the pharmacies here, can you how can i find it?
Avatar f tn You should never put hydrogen peroxide on s cut unless there is debris in it. Hydrogen peroxide actually damages white blood cells and lessen the path to healing. Chlorhexidine sol. Is not systemic so it won't absorb in to your blood stream. Just be sure to rinse well w h2o after to avoid swallowing.
Avatar n tn hydrogen peroxide, as long as it's diluted with water, is safe and fine to use. Even ask your doctor. Salt water would work better, or they actually sell stuff for your mouth to get rid of canker (sp?) sores, and blisters and all that. There is somthing similar to oragel that is good for it. Ask a pharmacist, and they can point it out in the store, since i'm drawing a blank on the name.
Avatar m tn Hi, I was stupid to go with a prostitute, I didn't have any intercourse, it was kissing, touching and fingering. she inserted my penis in her mouth for 2 seconds but i pulled it away and then inserted a condom. we were naked and hugged , After finishing she informed me that she has a history of HPV many years ago and she currently has a dysplasia on her cervix. she seems to have some warts on her leg, I'm not sure if that is HPV or something else, i don't think it touched them.

Avatar n tn Hi all, yesterday I was playing with my 2 years old child in the park, and suddenly he just fell down on the grass. He put his hand in some red substance, and then put this hand in his mouth. I was very scared, and thinking that this could be blood. I went to my car, and get some hydrogen peroxide 3%. Put this on that red substance and it didn't react to hydrogen peroxide (no bubble, foaming, nothing became white).
Avatar f tn I gargle and brush with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, which keeps it somewhat under control. What do you thinK? O, and I am extremely fatigued. I almost forgot to mention that I have red spots on my palate.

Avatar m tn I washed my face several times along with using hydrogen peroxide to clean my mouth several times as well but now I am worried he may have given me herpes. Do you think by me washing my face/using hydrogen peroxide would kill the virus or can would it still get through no matter what? Is the virus easily killed with soap or does anything help??
Avatar n tn I thought I had a fungal infection on my hand. I cupped my hand and held 3% hydrogen peroxide for maybe a minute. It did not hurt at all, I went about my day and i noticed the area the HP touched was really sore. I thought 3 % HP was harmless.
Avatar n tn Start off with a clean slate when it comes to a VERY common issue all of us women suffer from. Push the reset button stop listening to your doctors cause all they want is your money. Its called big business...the answer is right underneath your kitchen sink. PEROXIDE (3%) IS THE ANSWER, YES I SAID PEROXIDE...
Avatar f tn I've heard hydrogen peroxide, but an ear infection left untreated can cause internal ear scarring and some more series issues so Id definitely go to your doctor or urgent care so it doesn't get worse and cause more issues
Avatar m tn 5 days ago and it was like a red sore below that I thought was healing. After the fingering I stupidly poured some hydrogen peroxide on it and it bubbled, which I think means that the red may not have been healing because I thought hydrogen peroxide bubbles because of wet blood. Does this situation put me at risk? I am sorry for the unique and possibly stupid question.
Avatar f tn But for non emergencies yes hydrogen peroxide. Our @#$# border collie had to have ti done twice for eating grapes and avacado.
Avatar f tn My dog was bit on the shoulder and under on the meaty upper part of his leg which left a small puncture wound, I treated it 3 times a day for over a week, applying hot compresses to the lump that developed near the wound in the arm pit area, I noticed it would bleed a lot after treating it, I also applied hydrogen peroxide and an triple antibiotic to the wounds, he seems to be doing a lot better now, barely limps and is eating and drinking and seems to be in great spirits.

Avatar m tn You could apply a loose bandage while you sleep. Alcohol kills viruses and is a good antiseptic, hydrogen peroxide kills bacteria and viruses. It usually works by drying out the bugs if there are any present. Don't get the peroxide up your nose or in your eyes!
