Avatar m tn Hi- Are you still taking morphine? Trying to get clean and can't sleep? Just want to "talk"?
Avatar f tn Gosh does the rain make this slow tapering detox worse... Not feeling so good. My legs ache! and of course my ears are ringing!!
7671414 tn?1395660495 Great job on 19 days! Ugh this darn rain, but the sun will be shinning and so will you. Keep up the good work, sorry your hurting, be easy on yourself pamper yourself, you deserve it. Take a nice warm bath/shower and relax.
Avatar m tn I had peripheral vision that appeared like rain running down glass....except there was no glass and no rain....it was very odd....sometimes things look like the heat coming off a very hot road. wavy.... like I said hard to describe..... Yes the optic nerve may not be involved in those with visual issues....but it is best to have it ruled out.....those with a syrinx could have pressure on the optic nerve as well as issues due to other parts of the brain stem or spinal cord being compressed.
Avatar f tn s monsoon season so we always get rain this time of year. It only rained for like 20 mins though.
168348 tn?1379357075 Rain - Listening to rain falling upon a tin roof at night before falling asleep is Awesome! Which do you prefer? Staying at home for holidays or going to the inlaws?
Avatar f tn I had back labor with my first child. I'm 37 weeks with my second right now. Back labor is terrible!!! I remember being in a hospital gown on my hands and knees cryin so bad bc the pain was un bearable. I begged the nurse to give me epidural but unfortunately I wasn't dilated enough and had to deal with the pain for hours and hours. I also had so much pressure in my pelvic area it felt like my pelvis was going to break.
Avatar m tn Welcome! Unfortunately I can not answer your morphine question but I can welcome you. I'm new here too! Waiting for DX but things are moving quickly so I feel blessed. You are young and I hope you get a DX soon of whatever it is the Lord has planned so you can get on meds to help the symptoms etc.My husband and I have a great friend that was diagnosed w/MS when he was 39 and all of his symptoms sound similar to yours so stay on top of appts especially since your mother has MS.
7677085 tn?1395374075 Well im in Michigan and there is quite a bit of snow.
654183 tn?1225309036 Thank you. It sounds like you are exactly who I should be talking to. I appreciate it. He started with cocaine about 6 years ago then moved to pills. It has ranged from Oxy to heroin (again only what I know, I could be way off). Just curious, isn't the doctor required to report addicts to other pain management facilities?
Avatar f tn You sound like you are doing a phenomenal job tapering yourself down and seem like you're ready to get off the sh*t for good. Keep hanging in, you're almost there! As far as your pupils...that's easy to deal with. If you are really worried about what others think about you, simply tell them you started seeing an eye doctor who has been administering eye drops. They will most certainly dilate your pupils.
Avatar n tn I heard him sniffing, and coughing and then gagging- I know he does this when he brushes his teeth sometimes but it sounded like he was throwing up. I joked with him ask are you dying in there or what... I get ready and then I find him in bed lying on his side. I'm shocked b/c we were meeting people downstairs for brunch, so I say what are you doing? He mumbles that he is just going to rest a minute.
369629 tn?1237812958 And I am so glad that you found a pain medication that is working for you. What great news. And thank you for updating us. We care about all our members. MS Contin is often a good choice. As Molly said it is one of the more natural opiates. It has long been a proven pain control choice. I'll look forward to your continued updates.
Avatar m tn Morphine does cause nausea but I would be looking for other causes for bad stomach problems. This is for Deb who posted below. I have been on 120 mg morphine daily and norco for over 10 yrs, I have only had to use a laxative once. And that was because I had another surgery and didn't get proper exercise. Sounds like you were DOPED up if you can't remember things. If so I'm sure you weren't eating healthy or getting enough exercise. Same with your belly.
1760800 tn?1406753451 I hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend! We have had nothing but rain here the last 2 days, but starting today it's supposed to get sunny and the temperature is supposed to be cool. High of about 70 today and 62 tomorrow! Yeah!!!! I love fall.
Avatar f tn Thank you for the infomation on the morphine. Also on the virol count. After you relapeds was doing the meds harder on you the second time?
Avatar m tn We know he had a hip transplant several years ago and had been using pain meds all that time. He was a smart man who treated his body like a temple. We know they had to make an emergency plane landing a few days or so before he died. I read that it was because he over dosed. Is this true? We may never find out. We knew he had been sick for a month with pneumonia so it could have had something to do with that. They gave him meds in the hospital and he refused to stay.

Avatar f tn I can recommend for now you look at the Thomas recipe. There are many ways to go about this, and some seem to work better than others. I have heard that chamomile tea actually helps. One thing I KNOW from personal experience is that soaking in warm baths temporary help. No joking, even though it's not hours of help, it's help, and in the state I am guessing you are in, it's something.
Avatar m tn You'll need pain management in some form long acting meds percs won't help your kind of pain, and you may end up taking too many which is not good for your liver. I have same in my neck compression planned under a year for me already have nerve impingement left side numb and gives in disk a hair away from spinal cord only days ago re tested...My spine pain is hell the lower torturous, and it's not rebound pain but surgeons will only focus on one part of the body one at a time.
