If Pholcodine has codeine in it that could cause the sleepiness and dizzines. Codeinne, like morphine, is a derivative of opium. It would be possible that you had an allergic reaction, but I am thinking it was more just the normal side effects of codeine. It would really depend on what you mean by "felt very sick".
I suggest you call your doctor of pharmacist and tell them ALL your symptoms and see what they think.

Basically I have not motivation to move or do anything at all. The only thing which helps is opiates like opium, morphine and heroin. From time to time I have had to take one or the other just to be able to do things which were needed to be done. I have no craving for opiates and I don't take large quatity of them and I stay away from heroine if there are other trhings available. Opium is my preferred substance. I repeat I only take it because at times I have to get things done.
I don't know abt. the patch, it seems like it would prolong the withdrawl. Possibly delay the inevitable but give some relief. Are you withdrawling voluntarily or till your next prescription ? Usually by day 5 a person starts to feel better and alot of the really bad stuff is over. I really do think the fentanly is a bad idea but I know how being addicted goes, we just want it to go away. I hope the best for you and I wish I knew more abt. your situation to give a good opinion.
my father was in hospice and yes his health was failing and he was dying on his nursing home bed but my questiion is , it is strange that right when the hospice nurse came to give my dad his morphine shot about two minutes later he died, now you ask, did i want to see him continue to die,?
While buprenorphine metabolites do not include these opioids, false positives can include morphine, codeine, heroin, and opium. The instant UDT test is simply not accurate.

Doing really good on lyrica so hopefully will hold so i can get off morphine, i have been down to 30mg now for 4 days and dont feel any signs of withdrawals i went from 60mg .
The last time I rotated was from Oxycodone to morphine and it made a huge difference in my baseline dose, however, it did not work as well for breakthrough pain. So I asked my doc to up my BT medication by 15 mg.

I was on morphine SR 60mg twice a day for years and my doctor switched me to fentanyl 25 patch. I ended up with severe withdrawal and went back to the morphine for a week until my next appt where he put me on the 50 patch. Still I am going through withdrawals. My pharmacist says I can't be but I know 100% that's what is happening. Anyone else deal with this?
