My husband takes morphine pills and if he does not wash his hands after taking them, if he touches anything in the house can it be passed on to anyone if they touch what he has touch? and can they have a bad urine test?

I have R/A & Fybromyelga im in pain 24/7 im on Oxy 15 mg once every 3 hours & morphine patches 125mg change every 72 hours. im still in pain its wakes me up crying. things are getting bad. my 3 sons need me. i dont think my doc knows what todo. i've been doing this for going on 5 years. tried defferent meds nothing worked. been on oxy for 1 year morphine for 6 months. dose anyone have any idear how we can have a better life, better heath? i just want to play with my boys again.

I had absorption problems with the gel patches as well. After three days there was either nothing left in the patch on day 3 or at least half a patch left. Very spotty. A lot of people around here find they provide great pain relief, though. I think the preferred brand is Mylan and most of us are from the US.

Ok so I'm only 21 but have had for over a year on and off gel like sacs in my urine that are hard to push out. I also for well over a year have had burning when I urinate and weak/ no constant flow. Mylan pharmaceuticals makes the patches I prefer. Instead of a gel reservoir, the fentanyl is embedded in the adhesive. In general these types of problems (epiretinal membrane, retinal hole, macular hole) often have to do with the natural aging and degeneration of the vitreous gel. When the gel degenerates it can collapse and pull away from the retina sometimes causing a retinal hole or detachement. The surface of the retina can also wrinkle or pucker because the gel is not there up against it to keep it smooth.

But like 10 days ago I got some fentanyl patches. Not perscribed, but ive been cutting them in fours and eating the gel. Like a patch a day for 10 days. This was before I read all the bad stuff on fentanyl. I agree it was extremely bone headed to do this. And I'm stopping. My question is how bad will the withdrawal be after only taking it for a little more than a week. I took something called kratom to help with the morphine. Will this help with fentanyl? I have 3 patches left.

Started me on 15 mg morphine sulfate ir 4 times a day. I have tapered down to 1/2 a tablet in the morning, for the past 3 days, if I just quit how long will the withdrawals be? I know that it has a very short half life and will be nothing like the methadone.

t been careful with them OR in the case of the Gel Filled patches where the Gel has leaked and they got more of the med than they were supposed to get. Just be sure that you are careful. If you use the Patch made by Mylan (it's the one that I use) you won't have the problem with the Gel because it's the one that has the Fenatnyl med in the adhesive and is much safer than the Gel Filled for us Patients.

No one puts a drug in solution and then in a needle to squirt in their mouths. They could use an eyedropper to do that. You may need to wake fully up here if you wish to save your marriage. And you have legitimate concerns for health. I have already done a years worth of experimental chemo from the Mayo Clinic because of my carelessness. It is no joke.
