1645944 tn?1305243337 In the past few years, I have begun having a histamine reaction to Morphine and Dilaudid, which knocks out Demerol by association. When I received it by IV in the hospital, I broke out in a rash on my chest, felt like I couldn't breathe - like a weight was on my chest (even though my pulse ox was 100%), couldn't entirely move my arms and legs, and couldn't talk. So, there go the narcotics. Ummm, in two days they are gonna cut my head open, HELP?!
Avatar f tn Yup shes right i had some that were ok and i was breathing through and others i just put the covers over my head and was crying it hurt that much! but you can tell when they re real thats for sure BH are just cramp like!
Avatar f tn Yes your imagination is getting the best of you. There has never been anyone contract HIV from piercing or tattoos.
Avatar f tn Does anyone notice that during the pregnancy their tattoos popped out more, and you can really feel the outlines in the tattoo's? They also started to itch, and I can't scratch because then it hurts? Anyone else has this? Or knows what's going on?
Avatar f tn m wondering this is that if someone was in bed that she thought was entirely hot and exciting, and he had tattoos, she would probably find tattoos hot and exciting too. The excitement of the guy would sweep the tattoos into the package and she'd find them OK.
Avatar f tn The endorphin releasd is also seriously dangerous to baby and can cause your body to self abort with the release. But if youre wanting to just trick people for a tattoo and get one anyway, pick a place where you dont know the people bc when word gets around town from people who know u got the tatt and can do the math for how pregnant you are, you totally ruined that artists career and way of making a living.
Avatar f tn I already have several tattoos and of course have plans for many more. Now, being pregnant that has bright me to do a lot of research. My findings are basically everywhere is that as long as its a new needle and ink there is nothing that will harm the baby. Has anyone ever had experience with this or know someone that does?
1931709 tn?1335833095 After the delivery the skin is no longer stretched hence affecting the look of the tattoo adversely. Tattoos are made to stay for life-long hence it is better to wait till you gain your normal shape and weight after pregnancy. Even after reading the above mentioned risks associated to tattoo during pregnancy you wish to get one, it is better you consult your doctor. It is better to check the hygiene of the tattoo parlor and keep the artist informed regarding your pregnancy.
Avatar f tn I dated a a tattoo artist for a a few years, he still tattoos me, but not right now. No tattoos while pregnant for all of those reasons that have been mentioned by others.
Avatar f tn Thank you all. I'm sorry for your losses JRW93! It is pretty hard coping and I can't help but think what I could have done differently. It was meant to be though. I just hate (not hate, but close to it) that with my first pregnancy, it was easy to get pregnant. I'm not going to lie, she wasn't planned. I had barely gotten off birth control to switch to another and Bam!
4251679 tn?1370305531 My fiance and i both have quite a few and after our daughter is born we are getting tattoos for her.
Avatar f tn So, I've been lurking around on this site for a while now. I've just recently started joining in on the posting. I was just wondering how many of you have tattoos? What are they, and where are they? I have 23 tattoos. They're all part of sleeves on my arms.
Avatar f tn I am 18 I have a bicuspid aortic valve. Saw a docter a while ago and he said "it is advised to not have any tattoos or piercings". I asked him why and he didn't give me a straight forward answer.. I mean it's not advised for anyone bicuspid valve or not. I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me... I don't want to go overboard.. Just a couple of small ones which have meaning...
Avatar f tn Just wait small or big just wait. Also many places wont risk there shop for a pregnant woman. To many risk for infection and by the way you can't get a tattoo if your nursing. You have to be completely done nursing for a tattoo artist to tattoo you.
Avatar f tn s not worth it to chance while pregnant, I have 10 tattoos and already have one drawn up for after baby comes.
Avatar f tn Hi.. I went today for a second check up. Baby is very active and hb is 148 I'm 11 weeks tomorrow. Cutest young I've ever seen little hands n feet moving. I had some concerns about itching everywhere so my dr. Looked at my back and noticed I have a tattoo on my lower back and told me I wasn't able to get and epidural. I thought it was odd I know people are different but a good friend has a much larger one and had one done. Thoughts please ?!?!
Avatar f tn You really shouldn't get tattoos while pregnant.. any decent tattoo artist won't even tattoo you while pregnant.. you could get an infection and it could really harm your baby..
Avatar f tn The only reason its dangerous is infection and risk of passing out during.
Avatar f tn Yes. The ink goes into your blood stream, and therefore go to your baby.
Avatar f tn I'm 31 weeks almost time for my bundle of joy , but the question is .. I'm breast feeding & is it ok to breast feed & get a tattoo ?
