5-7 days seems to be common for pure morphine, so IBKlean is likely right, another few days and you will be healing. The detox cheese should be going away by then to, but try to eat good and get lots of water in you. Good choice quitting now, you really got Physically dependant fast. Like myself, you really do need to keep looking for alternative pain treatment. Physical therapy seems to be helping me so far.
I am freaked out! I've been on Oxycontin 60 mg day for 3 years for chronic pain. I have had 3 back surgeries and both knees and hips replaced. I have sever nerve damage in right leg and rsd in foot and ankle on same leg. I have terrible radiculopathy also. My pain doc thinks I need to.come off oxy and switch to Suboxone for pain relief.
I've tried titration down at home but I've had severe diarrhea, vomiting and panic type attacks.
My boyfriend went to the hospital with severe lower abdominal pain, they did blood test, urine test, and xray and found nothing. He has had painful diarreah for the past week and a half and twisting like pain than comes in waves and sometimes comes from the upper abdomen. After every meal he has abdominal pain and diarreah and has been been feeling weak and tired.
The GI doc ordered a hida scan on Monday. They gave morphine to make it contract which sent me back in the er for excrutiating pain. The test came out normal though. I just talked to the GI nurse and she said there's not much else to do since the blood and stool tests were normal. If they are normal, why am I still having this pain? I'm so frustrated and feel they're not taking me seriously.
I have had to have 2 back surgeries, (one failed) and now have a bone graft with 6 screws for a L4-5 rupture of the disks. I took a 30mg morphine timed release every am and sometimes again at night, hate the way they make me feel. Perc for break thru pain, up to 8 some days. dosage was 2 every 4hrs. Day before yesterday I took the morphine and no perc, went to work and just dealt with the pain, I thought the runs were something I ate duh...
Also being weak after a serious infection is to be expected. It takes awhile for your body to bounce back for anyone. For someone with cirrhosis even more so.
If you have cirrhosis you want to to use antibiotics to kill off and infection. It's the lesser of two evils.
I was taking 750 MG per week but as a preventative measure so I'm not really sure about dosage for an active infection.
Others here may know about dosage.

s care but my dog is having bladder stones and he is very much unconfortable all night I have to take him downstairs to pee and all the vet has told me is to wait for the results of urine test to beggin treatment meanwhile he gave him Rimadyl for the Hip pain and also some Phenobarbitol for anxiety, but he still cries all the time, I am desperate !
I gave him back all my 100 mg morphine and all my hydromorphone and asked for a lower dosage. He then gave me 30mg twice a day for a week...that was okay...I could deal with it....But now I don't have any of those left. I am okay for about 2 or 3 days and then the withdrawal symptoms get really bad (and I take another 100 mg capsule--I saved about 10 of them)...I am cold(freezing) all the time, terrible bouts of depression, and then I get gross body movements happening..
Just this morning I realized I stopped a pain led, morphine er around the time this started. I’ve always had diarrhea for sometimes a couple weeks in a row, but never this long. In the last couple months I have started bloating after eating, feel like I’m ready to get sick or vomit, get a little SOB (different issue) and feel churning in my stomach and intestines. Sometimes when bloated my belly is really hard.
He said I tested positive for morphine and negative for xanax. I take 1-2 ,25mg xanax a day-prescribed by him for anxiety. He referred me to pain management and that Dr prescribed me 15 mg Amrix and 50 mg Nucynta ER a day. He said the morphine is not from the Nucynta and that I must not be taking the Xanax or Nucynta that neither one of them showed up. I am not taking Morphine of any kind. I took a Xanax and a Nucynta 3 hours before this appointment.
m 39 weeks with my second little girl and Monday night I started having contractions that were 5 minutes apart n after being monitored for two hours at labor and delivery they released me and gave me a shot to stop the contractions since I was not dialating anymore. I have had water diarrhea ever since 12 pm monday and earlier when I went to the bathroom it had blood clots.
Morphine will not damage his kidneys, there's no symptom regarding kidneys in morphine side effects list. This pain in chest seems to be angina pectoris - from narrowed coronary vessels.
High white cells are sign of inflammation, which is not necessary an infection, and may be located anywhere in the body, it may even be a part of a heart disease itself.
This antibiotic thing sounds to be judged quickly; it's weird.
Everyone is different, my friend...but, you will only know after you have NO chemicals in your system. Try going with no pills for 24 hours and see what happens...you will surely know by then...KEEP IT UP.
