If you go down the whole taking way more than prescribed then start mixing with alcohol then Hun you must be clear with your doc. These are not to be mixed. And tramadol at high doses can be very dangerous so it's in your best interest regardless of the alcohol issue that you take only the dose prescribed.
Careful with mixing anything. Google it and see what answers you get. You also didn't say how much you took.
Now your addiction to Tramadol is a different story. There are many members here that have had that addiction too and are now free of it. Don't just quit Tramadol cold turkey if you can help it. I have been prescribed tramadol and percocet for back pain for about 7 months. I took 2-4 tramadol 50mg a day and 1-2 5/325 percocet at night. Less back pain caused me to dial back on the pills til I am at 1 of each a day. Last week I did not take tramadol at all and began to feel achy all over and tired. I took the pill. Yesterday, I took no tramadol again and had all the symptoms I see described here--restless all over, unable to sleep, achy, etc.
Hey there.....I don't know about percocet but I took tramadol with vicodin before. I take tramadol and my script was running out before I could get it refilled so I took the vicodin to help make what tramadol I had left, last. So, medically I think it wouldn't hurt anything to take them. You just have to be very careful with tramadol! I am in the process of trying to ween off of it and my dr.
It is safe to take the tramadol along with the percocet but BE WARNED they are VERY addictive and it takes only weeks of daily use for ur body to become dependent on the drug! Withdrawal from tramadol is like nothing else in the world so PLEASE BE CAREFUL but if u only use it a couple times a week during your healing time u should not have any issues with physical dependency.
I'm worried! My fiancee' has been prescribed Tramadol, which worked very well for him but he has gone through 40 pills in 10 days and the way his dr. wrote his script it says "use 1-2 tablets every 8 hours as needed" so he cannot get a refill for another 2 weeks. i go to my family doctor and he gives me tramadol for pain i go back and tell him that it gives me nightmars and makes me depressed and ask if he can give me anything else and he sais no because if tramadol does that then vicoden and percocet will do it also but iv taken vicoden and percocet before. so i go to emergence rooms some give me percocet and some say we can't help you you have to talk to your family doctor. what should i do?
Can i mix tramadol 100mg with hydrocodone 10 mg? I can't get my pain under control and I can't even get out of bed. My husband works all the time and I have a 4 year old son to take care of. I would not do that. You would be mixing 3 pain relievers. Percocet has acetominophen (Tylenol). I doubt your liver would enjoy the mix.
I would check with your dentist or pharmacist. If bones are healing, you don't want to take Advil. That's what an orthopedic surgeon once told me.
For some problems, you can alternate your pain meds. If your stomach isn't overly sensitive, you can probably handle 3 Advil at once.

I called the pharmacy to see if there was anything they could recommend asking my doctor for that's NON narcotic or addicting and she asked if I'd tried Tramacet or Tramadol? I've never heard of these but the cet in tramacet leads me to think of percocet? she said it's not a controlled substance and is non narcotic...
I was involved in a car accident april 2013, and had some injuries, but was told my back showed no break. I was put on Percocet 5 ....every 6 hours, but wasn't getting enough pain relief. I constantly get a burning or ache in my spine area that is very painful! Trying to offset the pain medication (as doctors don't want to increase due to addiction).... I seem to regurally take a bottle of Tylenol 500 mg of 100 tabs per week.
I've been in your situation before - when I moved from Florida to Utah, I couldn't get into a doctor soon enough and even with 8 months of pain management records, the local ER gave me 1 days worth of 30% of my dose - for care over the next month while I waited to get into a local pain management doctor, I was referred to a methadone maintaince clinic for PAIN MANAGEMENT... All thanks to the failed war on drugs.
Ohhhh boy how long have you been on the trams and how much have you been taking?.You are not supposed to ct of tramadol it needs to be tapered off of .I would discuss with your doctor a taper program .If you have to bring him the tramadol insert info with youdo that its states right on it what happens it you ct it.
I have a very addictive personality and have been using different drugs over the past 4 yrs (percocet, lortab, tylenol with codeine, fioricet with codeine, etc), just to give you guys an idea of how long this has been going on. My dr. gave it to me, while i was on 40mg of methadone a day. But i was very scared, so I only to a forth of one one night to see. I was so out of it, but still couldn't sleep, b/c i felt like I was overdosing. Wouldn't recommend it.
When I looked at the drugs he took I was horrified as I was INSTRUCTED to take three of those drugs for an in-office procedure that I had done back in August of last year, when my anxiety was SKY high and new to me. I remember the Doctor was upset with me because I kept calling her office and speaking with her nurse, doublechecking on the meds and WHY I had to take them.
ve only used at night for two days and one 50mg this morning, once I get some more Zopiclone (I run out soon so will likely need to combine tramadol with trazodone to standa chance of sleeping without Zopiclone)...

For instance last week I took some plastic totes down from my sons nursery closet that were filled with the next size clothing. That set it off. It went away after a day or two...or so I thought. Then I changed his mattress pad and sheets 3 nights ago in the middle of the night, doing it in Supermom speed. Lol! That set off my mid back which has never been a problem. I have been through PT. Then massage therapy at the chiropractor. And I have seen PM specialists.
