I started my period on Monday November 14th and started Apri birth control on Wednesday November 16
I have taken it religiously every night at 8:50pm and havent missed a pill I had unprotected sex several times on Sunday November 27, however he did not come inside me. I was just wondering if my birth control was affective then and if there is any chance I should be worried about a pregnancy?
did not nut in me. If i was on my birth control, I would normally get my period on January 26th but I skipped my period for this month. I've been getting occasional cramps and this weird thick white to yellowish discharge falls into the toilet when I urinate. (No itching or burning) I've also just started working out 3 times a week and have been under a little stress with school and moving into a new area.
The first birth control pill I was on, my periods were regular at the same time every month. I never missed a period.
My doctor switched my pill and I didn't have a period for 3 months. When I went back to the doctor they said that maybe the new pill was too strong for me, and they switched it again. I had a period for the first two months on this third pill and now I have stopped getting my period again. I took three pregnancy tests and they have all came up negative.
There's always a small risk of getting pregnant having unprotected sex while on birth control, and even more of a risk if your partner ejaculates inside of you. Putting this small risk aside to answer your question -- you will not get pregnant during the placebo pills if you have been taking your birth control continuously the entire month. There is a chance of pregnancy if you miss any of the white pills. You should take the one you missed with your second pill as soon as possible.
I got pregnant while on birth control... It's not always 100% effective, nothing is 100% effective except abstinence but I know that could be hard sometimes.

Ok so i was supposed to start birth control on sunday may 11, after my period finished. But i forgot to take it on sunday and monday because im new on this. Anyways, i started tuesday, i made up the sunday pill on tuesday and took another pill later that night, then a make up pill for monday, and another later on wednesday that night. Then on thursday i just took the pill once a day, on the same time everyday. I never missed the pill at all, nor was i late for the pill at all.
My girlfriend has been on birth control for about a month now. We had sex on 11-17-12 and She was expecting her period to be on 11-20-12! She says she feels the usual symptoms as if she would be starting her period but yet it hasn't started yet. Could this be the birth control altering her cycle? Or does this mean she's pregnant? I'm on birth control, so not bleeding wasn't concerning me too much. But this is the first time that I haven't bled in the 9 months that I have been taking it. So my husband suggested i take a pregnancy test just to be sure. Took it this morning & it came back negative.

The odds of pregnancy are incredibly tiny when having anal sex. The only possible way it could happen is if ejaculation dripped down onto/into the vagina. This is only possible because the gap isn't large. I strongly encourage you to look into birth control though, as pulling out doesn't do anything and if you do engage in vaginal intercourse you're increasing your odds greatly of pregnancy.
I have been on Yaz for almost a year now.. and last month I finished my entire pack including the white pills without any "withdrawal period." I start each pack on a Sunday, and on my second pill on the new pack (Monday) I got some spotting like how it is when you are about to start your period. However, it ended there. My full "period" never came. Yesterday, i finished that pack and still my period hasn't come.
My last period was 16/04/14, had two home pregnancy test that shows negative, had another pregnancy test by the Doctor and still shows negative. What could be the problem? Help please.

In december i had unprotected sex used "pull out method" i was not on birth control. about 15 days ago i had sex again and started spotting shortly after so i assumed it was my period so i went and refilled my birth control and started taking it. I still have not had a regular period since December, it was only little spotting and cramping. it only lasted about 2 days ( January 13th or so I usually start on the 26th of each month) .
So I've been on birth control for about 3 or so months. I take the pill on a regular basis(sometimes a few hours early or late) And I honestly have a missed a couple but I always take them the next day, I am sexually active but he has been wearing a condom. I've never been late since I've been on birth control. Is there any way im pregnant, or am I late?
