I believe that I had a very early miscarriage in April- first real try. Had many of the traditional early pregnancy symptoms, but it all ended in a brutal period that seemed to discard the fertilized egg, which apparently didn't implant successfully. Today I'm on day 13 post ovulation; I began spotting brown blood on day 10; had been experiencing many of the same early pregnancy symptoms but less intensely this time; everything seemed great, until today.

a zygote is alive (as is an amoeba or any cell in my body), a zygote has full human DNA (as does almost any cell in my body), and a zygote has the potential to be an important part of a causal chain that leads to a human being (as does any cell in my body that could be used in cloning). However, these qualities of a zygote do not seem to be sufficient to establish it as a person.

Hello, The process of development begins on the day a woman’s egg is fertilized by a sperm which has penetrated it. The fertilized egg or zygote immediately begins to divide into 2 cells, then 4, then 8, and so on. After a few days the cluster of between 13 and 32 cells leave the fallopian tube and migrate into the uterus. This group of cells is called a blastocyst and the size has increased to hundreds of cells.

Since withdrawal method is not very successful, so the likelihood of pregnancy is there. For confirming the status of pregnancy, I suggest you to test for pregnancy by a highly sensitive pregnancy test 10 days post ovulation with a sensitive ( 20 - 25 mIU ) pregnancy test.
