Clots are uterine tissue; it does not signify miscarriage. Some women have clotty periods all the time and others get them from time-to-time and many women rarely ever have clots at all. With negative tests and your period starting I would say you're not pregnant nor miscarrying. However I would still contact your doctor because spotting for two weeks may be the sign of something going on.

It could possibly be a miscarriage I had the same thing at 9wks & it was a threatened miscarriage.

Hello, First of all, you should make sure that these clots are not due to any miscarriage by getting your pregnancy status checked. Other causes can be hormonal imbalance(can be due to PCOS),hypothyroidism, cigarette smoking or underlying Chlamydia infection while on birth control, ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage after pregnancy and fibroids and polyps. I feel that an examination by a gynecologist will be the best.

I 9 weeks pregnant and I know that I'm high risk (8th pregnancy) 5 natural births 1 c section 1 miscarriage and 1 abortion. I don't have any pain no bleeding but for the past two nights I passed a total of 10 quarter sized clots. I'm really scared. I did not bleed before and not after but I can't stop thinking I miscarried. I go to the drs tomorrow. Has this happened to anybody and it was not a miscarriage?

Question . When having a miscarriage do u have to have few blood clots being released or even a large amount of blood as in it fills a pad up?

Go to the doctor ASAP, it's to early to fell any movements or flutterings. Don't wait until 12 of April!

What are the signs to watch out for? I just had a positive hpt sunday which would have put me at 5 weeks today. I started spotting brown saturday evening before I tested. Yesterday (Monday) I started cramping like I was starting my period. The pain got so severe that I was doubled over. I had pain in my lower back that felt like what I would imagine being stabbed would feel like. The brown spotting turned bright red. I had such bad cramps all night that I couldn't sleep.

I got pregnant a couple of weeks ago, and just miscarried day before yesterday. I know I miscarried due to the sudden intense bleeding and size of clot that I passed which had a small flesh colored half moon shaped object attached by a thread to the clot. 2 days later I am passing large clots, 1" x 2". Some of the clots are lumpy and stringy, should I go see my OB? or just let things clear themselves out?

s no where near as heavy as my regular period. I read a miscarriage is like a very heavy period. Could this just be the early stages? Could it be something else? Please share your stories. I don't know what to expect.

( if you are in fact having a miscarriage and take a pregnancy test after the bleeding stops it may still come out positive for a few weeks after that even though you miscarried..

I have had multiple losses but I have never been able to miscarry naturally. With this preg, I was told it was a blighted ovum & was scheduled for a D&C. I decided I would rather do it naturally. I had some light spotting for 2 days then yesterday I started bleeding like a normal period with some small clots. I should have been about 10 weeks 4 days yesterday. This morning I woke up & the bleeding is a lot heavier & the clots are bad.

my first pregnancy, i had a miscarriage too i was about 12 - 13 weeks. amd i had pain to, and alot of bleeding and some clots, it lasted about 2 weeks for me, cause i never got vaccumed. i am now 14 weeks pregnant and worry about that everyday.

I would say you have a 50/50 chance of it going either way, alot of women have bleeding and it doesnt end and miscarriage but alot do and it does, just keep an eye on it and if you start to pass clots then that isnt a good sign, can you go to your doctor and get them to do a couple of hcg tests and see what they're doing

About a year ago, I think I had a miscarriage. I missed my period for two months in a row, and then I bled the entire month afterwards. There was an extreme amount of pain and it was nothing but blood clots the size of a fifty cent piece or bigger. Is there any way I can find out now, if it was a miscarriage? OK I need some hope from u ladies. I started spotting last night. And in the middle of the night it got heavier with lil blood clots I have an appointment on Tue so I'm not gonna go to the hospital. I'm only like 6 w so if I did go they can't do anything.

Hi, I was late for my period, I'm normally on time now since I am on b/c but I started spotting a couple days ago and now I'm bleeding really bad, I passed two blood clots, but they were not normal blood clots, they were white with red in them, I passed one on September 26th and the other one on September 27th and they were the size of my thumb, I've never had those kinds of clots before, I looked it up on google and it said 6 weeks miscarriage

But last night i noticed i passed a couple small blood clots. I need to follow up with my doctor this week. Could something have gone wrong??

I think i may be having a miscarriage. I havent told my mom yet because i'm only 17.
