I'm guessing you had what was called a "spontaneous abortion" (the more common word is "miscarriage") where your body aborted your baby.? This happens when there are abnormalities of the embryo, and these usually can not be prevented. More than likely sex did not cause your miscarriage.
Did you already have the doctor confirm your pregnancy, or did you just take a HPT?

"Missed abortion" doesn't mean a woman had an abortion, which seems weird because it uses that word. A "missed abortion" means that a fetus or embreyo died but is still inside the uterus; normally, there would be a miscarriage causing the fetus or embreyo to leave the body by going from the uterus to the cervical canal and down through and out the vaginal canal, leaving the woman's body.
and most women in countries outside the USA will call their miscarriage an abortion. We do not know if this is an abortion by choice or a miscarriage and it is irrelevant anyway. Abortion is a pregnancy-related issue. I have posted it time and time again that we will not tell someone to leave the forum because they post an abortion question; we offer support and suggestions.

You should tell her how you feel and tell her when your around you don't want to hear it. She has to feel some type of regret since she doesn't openly say she had an abortion but that doesn't give her the excuse to play it off as a miscarriage.

Well I'm not sure of an abortion but I'm going to assume it is like anyone who looses their pregnancy and it takes a while for your HCG levels to reach 0 and until they reach 0 you will continue to have symptoms. After my miscarriage it took 4 weeks for me to show - on a pregnancy test and for them to return to 0.

why would you lie to him? he has the right to know the truth....going for an abortion without him is your right, but hiding the truth just seems cruel.
With that said...your doctor needs to know about this. Who did the abortion? most likely they sent papers to your general practitioner to keep with your permanent file, so she probably already knows.
I'm not saying your girlfriend is or is not telling you the whole truth BUT there IS another reason that a dr would tell her to have an "abortion". BUT it isn't called an abortion it's a D&C. It's where they remove the baby because it is not a viable pregnancy. Maybe she was confused, or you were when she told you about it. Don't jump to conclusions, just talk to her. Don't accuse her of wanting to have an abortion just because she's going to Italy.
I've never heard that, and I don't see why that would be true. A lot of miscarriages tend to be due to a chromosomal problem with the unborn child. And I'm sure many women go on to have regular pregnancies following an abortion, considering no babies would be born ever as the procedure after a miscarriage that cleans a woman's uterus is the same procedure used for an abortion (DNC).

For some unknown reason, just like after a miscarriage you are more fertile immediately after having an abortion.
I won't get on your case about being irresponsible, but you need to take plan B and get on a birth control pill immediately...having 2 abortions this close together, if you are pregnant, is not only dangerous but could damage your fertility permanently.
So yes....you could get pregnant, and you could be pregnant.
